Cakedoodle - welcome, you are at a similar stage to me and my dh, I have had cd3 and cd21 blood tests, I had 4 vials of blood taken which tested things like thyroid, blood sugar level and I think maybe liver/kidneys as well as ovulation. My dh has had his sa but are just waiting for the results, which should be in any day and then we will need to make an appointment to discuss the next steps. In terms of ages I am 38 and my dh is 47 and so feel that time is not on our side and we would not qualify for fertility treatement on nhs but if we need it we would have to go privately.
Juju - hugs, please don't get down-hearted about it, I really hope that the eggs continue to mature between now and Sunday.
Staffie - well done on the weight loss. That is pants that you have to wait so long for the appointment, I hope the time goes quickly for you.0 -

Well today SS has well and truly started I know this is TMI but everytime I go to the loo now and wipe there is light pink blood, I also 'feel' like im about to come on, though no cramps but I dont always get them anyway. I just hope it goes away but its not stopping yet...

Went to fertility clinic today - have agreed to another 3 cycles of Gonal_f+hcg injections. DH not keen - thinks I'll just keep spending money forever on things that don't work. But I won't, I just want to have one more roll of the dice..!0 -
juju I've got everything crossed for you
((hugs)) sillysausage and c4b
chickpea I'll be keeping everything crossed for you too.
No news here, am losing track of days! cd 11 here officially. I go back for another scan tomorrow, so we'll see if I'm on track to trigger mid week I guess. Having a thinking-positive day today
although I've no idea how I'll cope with the 2ww. Do you ladies who have done this before think it's a good or bad idea to test out the trigger? When people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -
I've always tested out my trigger, that way I have an excuse to test and it gives me something to look forward to, even if it isn't real (at that point)
Just the way I cope with it2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Hi girls
Most of you won't remember me but I posted on here aaaaaages ago. I just happened across this thread again and noticed staffiecat that you have recently had drilling, so I wanted to give an update on what happened with me.
I have PCOS and wasn't having any cycles at all. I had the drilling in March last year, and immediately started have regular 36 day cycles. I conceived in July (4th cycle) but sadly miscarried at 6 weeks. I was lucky enough to conceive again in October (2nd cycle after) and am now 19 weeks pregnant
. So keep with it, hopefully you will be as lucky as me
