Morning! Just sticking my nose in as we are preparing to jump back in to this crazy world in the new year.
Good luck to all you 2ww'ers!
With regards to FET costs, was your IVF on the NHS? I have just discovered that my little snow babies will be replaced free as Liverpool health Authority classes them as part of the cycle that they have paid for already. Not sure about the drugs though, because I need a medicated cyle as I don't ovulate.
For those who don't know me, we were 6 years trying. I had clomid x 6, and a failed IVF before being truely blessed with a baba from a FET. I had a bit of a rough time (Pre-eclapsia, emergency C-section, followed by a pulmonary embolism, pnemonia and post- partum Cardio Myopathy, weeks in hospital etc, and months of recovery)
I had a cardio-echo gram thingy on Thursday, which will let us know if I am able to even try again, or if it would be too high risk.
So if I get the all clear we want to go ahead in the New Year...I know that with my age there is only a 17% chance from a FET, and that I'll need to inject fragmin to stop clots, and will be higher risk for pre-eclampsia/heart problems... but you know what? I'll do it all in a heart beat!
Sorry for the essay, its nice to be able to pour out your thoughts in a nice safe non-judgemental place
Winky xRight now I'm having amnesia and deja- vu at the same time. I think I've forgotten this before0 -
hi Winky, our FET was private, it cost £646 + drugs, so just over £700 in all as i just take hrt tablets for 2 weeks then the progestrogen gel,we are i wales so i dont know if that makes a differece to cost, hope you get the results you want and are able to try again, good luck xxx0

Hello Ladies, thought I would come over from the ttc thread and introduce myself. I am 38 and my dh is 47 and we have been ttc for over 2 years without any success. I am going to phone the doctors this week for an appointment to discuss the fact that we have had no luck and hope I get taken seriously.
Good luck to all those in the 2ww - keeping my fingers crossed that you all get a great christmas present!0 -

well day 3 and i'm going mad already! got a friend coming for lunch so that will be nice, hope C4B & Murray are both ok, good luck all xxx0 -
Good morning, hope everyone is well. I've also got a friend coming for lunch so at least that'll take my mind off all this waiting, even if just for a little while. I found getting my sewing machine out last night and making a few Christmas bits helped!
Was laid in bed at 2am thinking (this is probably a ridiculous question), I had my eggs collected 11am Wednesday and transferred 4pm Friday. Is that classed as a 3day transfer? Because in my eyes, that's only 2days!
It was a 5cell, and I keep reading about grade 1, 2 and 3 embryos. So what would mine be classed as, any idea?
I hope everyone is ok and not too stressed in the run upto Christmas xx:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0
