CCM, congratulations!!!:j
SK, I'm going for another IVF, this time 'natural' IVF, in which they don't use any medication to increase egg count. It's very :money: too, as the medication is the costly bit.
It is supposed to be better for older people (me:p) and people with diminished ovarian reserve and egg issues.
This is not the clinic I'm going to, but it has prices etc:

Good luck QQ, had a read of those pages, sounds like it would be so much better without all the drugs.
Congrats CCM
Hope my fellow 2ww'ers are going ok
I dont know whats wrong with me lately but it seems the harder I try to keep myself wrapped in cotton wool, the more things happen to me! Yesterday afternoon I fell over my dog, straight onto my knees luckily, didnt half give me a fright . Then last night I took my last antibiotic tablet and started choking..... I'd only gone and swallowed the foil backing from the tablet packet . Eventually managed to cough it up but was yet another scare!
My Auntie (who is also my best friend) threatened to move in with me and keep me bed-bound if I dont start being careful :rotfl:
Apart from all that though, Im ok! Cant believe it is only a week tomorrow that I had the ET. Feels like weeks already. And Im angry with myself for not being more organised for Christmas. I was meant to have everything ready so I could have a stress-free 2ww but I havent. Not a thing.:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -
HI C4B, the first week is over, i know how hard it is to be careful, i'm a naturally clumsy person, but so far this time ive had no major mishaps!
dont worry too much about christmas, people will understand, take care of yourself, thats the most important thing0 -
C4B and Runner, hope you are doing well after your first week.
What are you views on how you rest in the 2ww?. The last 3 times I have taken the whole 2 weeks of work and just rested on the sofa and not go out or do anything else. This time I am thinking about just having a week off, as i have a sit down job which isn't stressful I thought it probably won't make any difference.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -

ive taken it very easy, the first couple of days i just cooked meals looked after the fire, chickens and washing etc from monday i have visited a couple of friend, but only sat chatting, yesterday i had to get grocery, but i took 15 yr old son who pushed trolly and carried bags etc, i'm doing the minimum housework i can get away with ( had a mad cleaning session before ET:D) we are just giving it our best shot this time as it will be very expencive if we have to have a full cycle again. I dont know whats best i just know if i have done my best i won't feel guilty if it fails again. how long have you got until you start youre treatment now juju?0 -
I am starting down regging on the 9th Jan, they put it back a couple of weeks as my cycle is a bit messed up. I am due for EC on or around the 31st Jan. I am just in 2 minds whether to take the whole 2 weeks off or not. When i am off I don't from the sofa!BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0

C4B and Runner, best of luck for the reminder of your 2ww.
Hope everyone else is doing ok.
I haven't posted in quite a while so thought I'd update you all on my situation.
I had an 8 cell and 10 cell FET yesterday, I'm off work until the New Year so I'll be taking it easy. I'll keep you posted, x0 -

Good morning everyone!
TinyP - that sounds really promising!
Congratulations CCM - what a nice way to end a difficult year.
++++++++
Well, I phoned the clinic yesterday - I was going to just quit, but they're arranging an appointment. It looks like they'd be willing to have another 3 goes with the injections. I'll probably do it, even though it's most likely just throwing good money after bad..they're more confident than I am.0 -
good luck tiny welcome to the 2ww xxx
good luck with whatever you decide chickpea xx0
