Hello all,
Hope you are well and for those in the 2ww I have everything crossed for you that Santa brings something very very special this year
Welcome Primmer, hope your stay is short ! The doctors will take you seriously, make sure to tell them how long you have been trying but they should at the very least run some tests for you and I would also be surprised if they didn't refer you to a consultant. Fingers crossed.
Hi Winky, welcome too! I hope you get some good news - when will you know ?
Well I am now cd6. I have started temping and using my CBFM (thanks for the info Nicki).
Last month was the first time in all our years of trying that DH actually told me he thought I might be pregnant - I felt so happy and so sad at the same time, the latter because I had a feeling that we hadn't caught that bean. So, I am bouncing back with lots of PMA and I have told DH that we are making a baby this monthso he had better prepare himself!
Fingers crossed ladies !
Onestep/Chickpea I think we are sort of cycle buddies.
SK, if you are about I hope you are ok ?
Lots of love to everyone

I'd like to join in, been trying for 18 months, just had my second appointment at the clinic, still some weight to lose (11lbs) before I can be given clomid, been told that due to the waiting time and my age (39) I will not be able to get IVF on the NHS and would have to fund it privately if we went down that route. Got to have a HSG with in the next few months so feel like things are moving. There appears to be no reason for not getting pregnant, apart from low prostergrone levels, but I have been using prostergrone cream for the last few months to help boost it and see if that helps. OH results are okay. OH feels bad as the main reason for delay in starting is down to his relucance to commit to marriage and kids, but I am glad we are in this together and have the wonderful support of his parents.0

Hi all,
Gosh its been busy on here. Welcome to the newcomers. Sorry you are here at all.
I am now a Mrs!!! Had a lovely wedding last week. Back to earth with a huge old bump today - had a follow up blood test today and my HCG levels have only dropped to 500. They need to be a lot less so I have to go back on Friday for another test and decide on how to proceed. They mentioned the Methotrexate injection or a ERPC. I can't believe this isn't over.
Good luck to the IVFers this month.xDeposit savings £8,000/£25,000£14,000 by 31/12/110 -
Welcome new commers!
C4B i would say that was a 2 day transfer but 5 cells sounds good. The amount of cells isn't necessarily the grade as that can depend on of there is any fragmentation. At day 2 transfer it should be at least 4 cells I believe. I had a 2 grade As put back in as they were excellent quality with little or no fragmentation and I have a frozen grade B. It didn't work for me but that could be down to my high levels of natural killer cells.
Good luck to all in the 2ww, I don't envy you but I will be there in just over a month.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -
C4B - I too had a 2 day transfer. My embies were 4 cell but they didn't tell me the grade (I suspect I know why)
My IVF was successful - just remember, the best place for them is in you! I'm not a believer of going to blast. From what i've read, too many arrest before they make it then you're left with nothing. Having 2 embies transferred gives the same chance as a blast.
Hope everyones well and good luck to those in the 2ww. I haven't been around much lately - it's too hard at the moment, i'm really struggling since the mc.
SK xAfter 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j
And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!0 -
thanks to you all, yeah things are now starting to move. We did have the option of delaying everything (hsg etc) until the weight had gone but as OH pointed out (in the nicest possible way) I don't have time. Felt really bad after the first appointement in the summer when told about the weight loss, did not help that they did my height wrong and in effect my BMI was higher than they were quoting which meant more weight to lose in 6 months, but when I went last week, that I had not made it anyway but was not surprise. Not done too badly in losing 1 and half stones in the last six months anyway.:), everybody really commenting on the weight loss as it is really noticeable, especially as I need pins to hold my trousers on!!!!:rotfl: Had just bought new clothes when I started to lose weight and refused to buy any more till the new year0
