So I am gearing up for the arrival of AF and starting to pin my hopes on December. I know I shouldn't but I am going to mentally go for it and i'll pick up any emotional pieces in the new year. I have booked a lovely extended break from work, timed nicely I hope with expected ov date so lots of bd'ing, lots of relaxing and the odd drop of baileys I think

I plan to temp too, can I check, does temp rise after ov and drop when AF is on her way or after AF has arrived ?

OOh and I put up my xmas tree today :xmassmile although xmas is totally boring, I look forward every year to putting up the decorations !

I've just started temping (long not very happy story, and hadn't mentioned on this thread we were ttc again). I have found the fertility friend software very helpful. It has lots of tutorials which help you read your own chart, but basically, you can just put in your temps each day and it will interpret them for you.

Basically though, the idea is that your temps will be a bit erratic from day to day, but after ovulation they will be higher than before. You need to look at the temperatures in the first half of your cycle and draw in a coverline which should be a line below which most or all of your early temps fall (you can discard any wildly high temps). You can tell you have ovulated when you have at least 3 consecutive temperatures above this coverline. The shift can be quite subtle though. You need to use a thermometer which measures to two decimal points, and your shift can be less than 1 decimal point.

At the end of your cycle, it can go either way. Either your temp starts to fall which is a fairly strong sign AF is on her way, or it falls on CD1 or CD2ish. But the theory is that 18 consecutive high temps over the coverline after ovulation and no AF is a good indicator of a BFP.

The other complication is that you may get a dip lasting 1-2 days around a week after you ovulate if you have implanted, and you might get a second temperature rise around the same time which stays up. That is a triphasic chart and also considered a good sign, though you can have a dip and a triphasic chart and not be pregnant, and you can also be pregnant with one or none of these.

Went for my appointment today to get my schedule for my next ICSI but they have messed it right up and now will have to be put back a few weeks, its suits me fine as it means i get to attend my friends party in January. Sometimes people have not got a clue. Just need to make sure AF arrives on time this month which knowing my luck, probably not.

Hi guys, when I said I would be ready Monday I meant for final injection, sorry, my fault for not being clear.

Went for scan and blood test Monday morning, eggs have grown a little and they found 2 on my right ovary, not just the one. Left has 2 x 19mm and a 17mm and Right has a 11mm and a 13mm. Said the smaller ones might not have decent eggs but they will have a look when they collect them. Not feeling too nervous so far, more concerned I will talk carp while drowsy!!

So having EC in morning. Got to take a tamazepam later and another 2 in morning when I get there for 8.30. Im not a morning person so hoping they will just send me straight to sleep!

Not short portocol for me but much shorter than I have had before, I have down regged for 6 weeks before!!

i had dildo cam yesterday, all is well, i have started the progestrogen gel today and we are having Et on friday, will have to go for a christmas tree thursday as hubby always moans about my 8 foot tree, so will have to drag it in and try and get it up before having to take it easy!
