Good luck for egg collection today ginvzt.
Hugs for Lilo. I hope you can reach a decision and find peace with it, whatever that decision may be.0 -
Hugs Lilo. Thinking of you xx0

I hate the 2ww also. But I only get it during treatment, the whole agony every 4 weeks of ohhhh, could I possibly be, especially if AF was late for even a few minutes has been taken away (along with any chance of a 'miracle')
I do miss it though in a strange way, and when I am actually on the 2ww after IVF I make up for it!
Hugs to all, we have a right busy little board going at the moment!2 angels in heaven :A0 -
Lilo, sorry it is so harrd. hugs...
I had the collection this morning and all is fine. I am a bit tired and was feeling nauseous earlier. All is ok now.
tThe news is that they collected 10 eggs!!! As OH said, that is a1000% increase over last time -I only got one egg then. All that we have left to do is wait for the magic to happen overnight and see how many will fertilise.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Congratulations gin, brilliant news!!!
Question for everyone: I had my transfer on Monday and am supposed to be going to see Adele in concert at the weekend. Tickets are standing. Would you go? Hubby worried about crushes/ the heat/ standing for a long time.

I am home finally. We went after to town for some food and stopped for OH to look at the books at Waterstones.
If it was me, I don't know if I would like to go to the concert. I guess it would be tiring and crowded, and noisy. But then - I never liked crowds and noise...Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Sounds good Gin - 10 is great! I wish you luck.

Lilo - I hear you, I don't know what to advise really - in your shoes, I'd have a go at IVF if I could find the cash - and if that failed, draw a line under TTC. But I'm not you and only you can know how much of a cash hit IVF would be, and whether you can deal with it - and the (not insignificant) likelihood of failure. I hope you can decide, and I hope you can move on if you need to.
I'm trying to get my head round being happy in a one child unit - and there is a world of difference between one and no children. Doesn't make the sting of 'failure' every month any worse less though.
I'm supposed to be doing the injections starting CD2 this month - but AF is all over the place, just dribs and drabs, not sure I can count any day as CD1 under 'full flow' definition. I guess I'll start tonight - they can see what's developing at the scan next Monday.
Not feeling optimistic though - the expression 'flogging a dead horse' can't seem to leave my head!
Good luck everyone!0 -
I hope you don't mind me popping my head in to say hi again and let you know whats going on and get a bit of advice. I've been back to the fertility clinic today to have the dildo cam and get the results of all my tests. The doc seems to 'think' I'm ovulating but the reults were borderline. They also got the tests mixed up and didn't do the CD2 LSH and FSH!!! My DHs second SA was ok - much better numbers (30million) but motility was low (13% rapid). HSG and scan of ovaries were fine. Doc then said, well I can refer you for IVF straight away!! WHAT??? I was pretty shocked as he was so matter of fact about it. Basically said not point in IUI due to costs so can have two rounds of IVF on NHS. Also mentioned Clomid and asked what I wanted to do? IVF hasn't really crossed my mind, I just presumed we'd get there on our own. The doc has given me Clomid for 4 months and see how I go, re-asses then and possibly IVF.
I know I'm waffling, sorry, just feels better getting it down in writing. What I'm trying to get around to saying is I don't really know much about IVF - I presume some of you lovelies are undergoing it, but can't really follow the gist of this thread!!! What are your experiences, thoughts and feelings about it?
Again, sorry for waffling!!
Hope your journies along this tricky road are going well

Congrats gin on EC, hope you get lots that fertilise. Fingers crossed for you.
Hugs Lilo, it's a tough decision to make and one I hope I don't have to.
Juicy, it's almost a week later but it depends on how you feel about it. I'm a stay at home girl after IVF for at least 10 days but everyone is different and I know people who have carried on as normal and still got pregnant.
Country - I have no experience of clomid or IUI so I can't help there but if you need IVF help then I can help there. Perhaps the motility is too poor for IUI but I'm not sure at least he has got plenty of swimmers. XBEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM
