Wow Chickpea, thats brilliant! What a generous FIL. Glad to hear he's recovering from cancer, I hope he has lots of healthy years ahead of him.
CD25 today and the dark cm has started - a sure sign AF is on her way. I'm gutted...again...the 24th time I've felt gutted like this...its been 2 years now
Sorry for feeling sorry for myself ladies, I know that many of you have been trying for a lot longer but the not knowing what the problem is is really getting to me. When I had the cyst removed and the hsg, I thought that would be it, job done, but I've had 3 full cycles since then and still nothing.
Oh well, DH is watching the bike racing and I'm going to bed. Hopefully I'll be feeling a bit more cheerful after a good sleep. Hooray for bank holidays!0 -
I hope you're wrong Murray - but after 2 years, you do start to recognise the signs when AF is on the way. And more to the point, the lack of signs of anything else.
I'm on 2 years now as well - we started TTC#2 in September 2009. It seems like a very long time ago now! #1 took 3 and a half years.
I also had the HSG (well, HyCoSy but I think they're similar) 3 months ago now..I also hoped that might work miracles.
Well - it still might, keep trying and hoping, is all you can do.
Have a good bank holiday Monday!0 -
I'm on my 2nd year too, had mc in August 2009:o
Chickpea, brilliant of your FIL:cool: Do you have anything special to spend it on?:)0 -
I'm on year 10 and getting nowhere fast. Got a hysteroscopy on the books in the next month or so and then i'm not sure what.
Anyone else had one? I'm not worried about it, been poked and prodded and yes even injected down there enough times, just wondered if anyone had any experience?
Hope people are having a good bank holiday

yes I've had this done. It's probably the nicest test to have done! They put you under GA, then pass a camera up your foof, video what they see, then bring you round. No cutting or scars, no pumping you full of air and you are asleep for the procedure so not even aware of any of the indignities of the whole thing
. You'll feel fine afterwards unless you don't handle anaesthetics well, and the pics they take are
Hope it goes well.0 -
I handle GA's fine, have had 12 now. Only thing is, i've been told this is under local not a GA! Local injected into the cervix and then camera up like you said.
I'm still not too worried by it, had local in the cervix when I had a loop diathermy a few years back, and twice now for Egg collections. I'm far from a fan of needles and tend to freak when they put the whole needle in hand thing so i'm not sure which I want them to do now! Thanks though, It sounds like it should be easy enough either way.2 angels in heaven :A0 -

The mortgage! Suddenly the dream of being mortgage free by 40 is close to reality!
And then, we'll be in a position to send our Number One Son (OK, one and only son!) to a good school roughly 8 years hence (local Catholic schools are a bit duff).
It is brilliant...although I'd swap every penny to get pg..!0 -

How absolutely brilliant!!!
wow.. Must be a great feeling. What a generous man
In my allegedly fertile few days (hours!), & for once DH is home at all the right times. Not that it'll make a blind bit of difference. I'm going through the motions I'm afraid until next Tues at 6.30 when I have my next appt. And bloody beyonce stands there rubbing her tummy smugly every time I turn on the tv.. Grrr !!When people show you who they are, believe them the first time0 -

Hi Onestep - right there with you. We're doing the bare minumum this month, sort of a month off without completely missing the (supposedly) fertile spell - which for me is probably anytime between yesterday and next Monday.
I know what you mean about the smug bump-rubbing - can't stand that!
I haven't seen Beyonce in papers since I heard her news. I cry when I say Kate Silverton at the minute though (even tho I know she struggled). I only know a handful of pg folk in RL - must be time for another announcement soon..!0 -
Congrats Chickpea on your nice early inheritance, to be almost mortgage free would be great!.
Here, here on the Beyonce thing!BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM
