  • An early CD1 for me. To be expected I guess after the test as I think my cycle went a bit haywire.

    Good luck Lisa. Only 3 more days to go unless you cave in ;)

    Murray - I hope you sort out an earlier appointment. Thats an awfully long time to have to wait.

    And good luck to all those entering their 2ww.

    Hi everyone - I'm joining (it seems) most of you in the 2ww! Definite air of expectancy - I hope literally! Sorry about yr AF tho CCM.

    ++++++++

    Glad today went well QQ, third time lucky...

    ++++++++

    I have collected my latest haul of Clomid from the chemist - I have LOADS now, because FS says to do 100mg from now on. I have 3 months left of 50mg and then 6 months worth at 100mg with CD21 blood tests. I'll have to start that next cycle (which of course won't come..!)

    +++++++++

    Well, I went to see my friend and her new baby on Tuesday. Baby is gorgeous. I may not have my own baby, but I'm getting the next best thing - I'm to be godmother! I'm so chuffed!

    +++++++++

    Good luck, ladies-in-waiting.

    hi ladies.
    Not caved, YET!!!
    Well done QQ, thats great news, now for the 2ww, eeeek! Best of luck hun, 3 rd time lucky!
    I haven't had any dye or camera tests, I have known for about 10 years that my tubes were blocked after an early ectopic, then a lter ectopic confirmed this and one tube was removed, the surgeon said my insides were like a car crash , nice! So it's always been IVF or nothing here.
    Chickpea, your godchild sounds scrummy, i'm a godmother to 2, brother and sister and they are so wonderful.
    CCM boooooo, but CD1 means another go at it, good luck for this cycle!
    Who else is waiting?

  • Hello ladies, sorry to be MIA, and sooo nice to be missed.

    I havent been terribly positive, sorry to say, and have been avoiding the whole issue of ttc. Second blood test showed that I hadnt ovd for the second month on the trot, and they wont do anything about it. My GP wont prescribe clomid as there is a risk of ovarian cancer, and with my history they wouldnt consider it. On top of that, my stepbrother has died of cancer and as executor I have been up to my eyeballs in it dealing with it. Together with the Fibro, I have been feeling very sorry for myself. Oh, and have only just had a (very light) visit from AF after 2 months of waiting (I knew I wasnt preg cos of the blood test)

    Anyway, enough of all that, I am hoping I have my mojo back, and will be able to offer some wise words of comfort to you all. Plus, after how many years! I have finally come up with a girls name that I like!!!!!! So now I just need the baby to name.

    CONGRATULATIONS RUNNERDUCK -I am not going to speak too soon, but did you have 2 embryos put back - a strong result that early could mean double trouble ...............................................

    And Lisawood78, I have everything crossed that your test result is positive. XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

    Anyway - look at the time, you can see I am no further to sorting my sleep problem!

    Night night all, God bless xxx Lilo

    Sorry you've been having a rough time Lilo. I'm sure the stress won't have helped your OV.

    Have you tried sth like Ovulex? I have a stash I bought online that I'm saving for if/when Clomid doesn't work.

    Nice to see you back, even if things are a bit gloomy at pres.

    Have a good day, one and all.

    Sending you Hugs Lilo on all counts, it sounds like a rough time for you.

    Chickpea - congrats on becoming a Godmother, I have 2 too but still would like my own one day.

    Lisa - still keeping fingers crossed for you, no AF yet must be a good sign.

    Good luck to all on your 2ww.

    I am having some reflexology at lunchtime, I have had it before but not for the whole IVF thing. I thought I would give it a go and see how it is and then the acupunture starts nearer the time of injections, its going to cost me a bomb which is slightly worrying as OH still not working.

    I have a lovely spa weekend away with my 2 close friends this weekend. One of them is preggers and the weekend will hopefully be relaxing, having fun and all about the food.

    (((Hugs))) Lilo.
  • I have thought about doing reflexology in the past but just not gotten round to it. There are a lot of success stories when I did some research. I think I would rather reflexology then acupuncture as needles stress me out :eek: I have also started Yoga and upped the excercise a notch.

    My pack of cheap Ov strip tests (sorry not sure of the acronym) arrived today. I have previously bought Boots sticks but they are so expensive. I did once use the ones where you pea in a pot but its messy :D And I read on the TTC thread (Think it was QQ) that you can just POAS directly. I will try that this month and see what happens.

    :Tfor the weekend. I'm looking forward to being able to start again this cycle with no interruptions this time. Our second FS appointment this month. I have no idea whats next for us.

    Good luck Lisa.
