Same here, Hope u r well Lilo x
It sounds weird but when i wanted to post on here, i'd feel reassured with lilo's words, felt like a proper hug and cuppa type feeling xx No disrespect to anyone else, u r all fab ladies xxxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
I had wondered about Lilo too - I hope she's just concentrating on being well and doing what the doctors say!
+++++++++
I'm CD18 - I just cannot call the IC OPKs this month - I seem to be getting ones that could be +ves every day! So we're DTD every day too..starting to get weary now!
My boss - who is a bloke, but very nice - took me to one side and asked if everything was alright. I didn't want to tell him about TTC and failing because I don't want him to start planning my successor - esp. if I then never get pg, and because my only other colleague is pg at the mo - so I just had to mutter sth about mild depression, I'll be fine..which is sort of true, I'm depressed roughly once a month..
And on that cheery note...
Good luck everyone in the 'waiting room'!0 -
Lilo has been on the board but not this one, perhaps she is taking a break from the TTC or maybe she has had enough of us! he he.

Chickpea - you're covering all the bases at least by BDing every day. Hopefully you catch it. I'm going to invest in more OPK's today.
I think I'm out this month. Started spotting last night which is my sure sign that AF is round the corner. But I am not going to tell OH as I don't want to affect his test tomorrow and give him extra stress. So keeping a cheery smile on my face

I'm off for my next (3rd and last) IUI on Thursday:)
After doing some light running/sit-ups for 3 days a week for the past week, my follicle grew faster than my norm, and it's 19mm at CD12 (usually it's about 15mm). Maybe those running paid off:cool:
Unlike last 2 IUIs, the clinic has run out of Pregnyl 5000iu (hcg trigger injection), so got Ovidrel 125 instead:huh:
Anyone had this? Unlike Pregnyl where I had to have it done on my backside (and hurt like hell), it's done like Puregon/Follistim pen, and on the stomach. I wonder if it'll hurt a lot?
Haven't done it yet, will do later on today.Chocolate_Cookie_Monster wrote: »But I am not going to tell OH as I don't want to affect his test tomorrow and give him extra stress. So keeping a cheery smile on my face
I usually tell him after breakfast when he's ultra busy getting ready for work:cool:0 -

I am going to the gym at lunchtime. Its good to see that the excercise is making a difference to the follicle. You will be my incentive QQ that excercise really does matter :jDeposit savings £8,000/£25,000£14,000 by 31/12/110 -
Hi All,
Just a quick question, I know a lot of you have various recurring appointments for scans and various other procedures. How do you take time off work or what reasons do you give for missing work? I have been taking mine as holiday as I didn't want to rouse suspician but I will end up with no "me time" off. Hi CCM -
I just say I'm going to the doctor's and no-one ever asks for more info.
If they did I'd say 'women's stuff'. This is where having a male boss can comes in handy - they just *don't* want to know!!
If they dared probe further, I'd say 'Gynaecological issues'. That would shut anyone up..!0 -
My boss knows that I had IVF.
Before I told him, I used to take hour there or here, as I have flexible hours, have half a day off, work from home, and then catch up in the evening with work. When I had laporoscopy, I told him I am having a minor surgery and I will be off work for 2 weeks afterwards.
When we knew that we will be going for IVF, I told him that and said that I will need time off for appointments. He knows someone (friends, I guess) who has been through IVF with a successful outcome, and I guess that made it easier. He is a very understanding boss, and after my first scan, when they decided that they have to drain the cyst, I was sitting in the office in pain, he kept asking if I am ok, and if not I should be going home (he didn't know what procedure I had).
I am not sure how much I will be telling him about the next cycle, I guess it will depend on the work (travel and similar).Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
