Since you are still young, perhaps you could donate your eggs and get a free IVF?

That is a great idea and one that I am going to follow through with if the Chlomid is unsucessful!

I actually really like the idea of egg donation even if it does work - would be really nice to give someone else a chance x

thats shockingly bad about the adoption agency
the bit that gets me is folk fall pregnant all the time there is not "test" for them to make sure they are suitable.
they cry out for people to foster and adopt and then turn you down at every opportunity
    just a joke
me and hubby are keeping that as an option for further down the line

as for runner!!!!!!!! well done we r well overdue a bfp now work your magic and sprinkle that babydust to us all! wishing you all the best

and as they say girls good things come in 3s - so 1 down 2 2 go lol

currently in 2ww the joys. doubtful of my chances this month but hey ho you never know lol
got appointment on monday with the specialist again hopefully she blinking does something this time after 2 years and being no further forward getting slightly agitated plus it now appears hubby has to work so im goin it alone :(

my work is really annoying me, they keep going on about why dont you have kids, oh your next, oh your sitting on the pg chair at work (currently sitting where someone is now off on mat leave) getting really frustrated as i dont want them knowing my situation. could just scream. its none of there blinking business. id bloody shut them up if i went yeah actually im desperate for a baby that 4 4 years i have had zero luck and 1 m/c how would you like to talk about that? that might shut them up.

  • It really is a very tough process isn't it - and I find myself thinking about it all the time, not in a bad way but in a hopeful way. It took me areally long time to pluck up the courage to go to the doctors as I was dreading them telling me it was hopeless, but now I know there is no "physical" problem, and we are taking steps towards it happening I really feel hopeful. However since starting the Chlomid it is all consuming - I pay attention to adverts selling baby stuff, and hover in the baby clothing sections, and taking a sneaky peak at the mothercare website now and agin - I know what pram I want and what Cot,and I am lucky enough to have a hubby that is excited by all of that too.

Is it the same for everyone? I thought seing all those things would upset me,but it isn't at the minute, and we are 3 years down the line trying!

I do however feel very very bitter about the adoption thing - we would have put everything into it!

I am almost 10 years down the TTC route (albeit with 2 diff partners) Life just turned out that I started quite early being aware of fertility issues so TTC natural was pretty much pointless, and I go through stages of being baby obssessed, looking in the shops etc, planning the nursery and things, and then I can go through a stage where I am relatively at ease with it all. It never lasts long though!
Adoption could be an option for us one day, but It is not something i want to think of yet.
    Day 2 of 2ww done.

    Runner - congrats!

I've not been on for a couple of days and I only just caught up. So very pleased for you! pm me if there's anything you want to chat about. Pregnancy after infertility can be an oddly lonely place...

hi, i dont know anyone who has had it done, but we have just had 3 frozen, and the consultant said that there was a 94% chance of them defrosting fine and then the odds were the same as for a normal ET, as i was very worried about just using one then not having as good of chance with the frozen ones, she said that the techniques are so good now it was nothing to worry about, we have been treated privately at the heath in cardiff, so i'm not sue if it is the same everywhere, HTH

HI Toni nice to see you back. I have no experience with FET so can't help you there. Sorry. I am using frozen sperm and apparently its just as good as fresh. Good luck on your appt, glad to see arm is on the mend (hopefully) and your back in the IVF game. We might end up being cycle buddies.

I have had FET's, all BFn's but there are lots of underlying issues.
I have done unmedicated 'natural' cycles are mine are very regular.
In a hurry now but will post more info if you can think what you'd like to know
