Ginvzt, Jujugaboo you sound like you have very understanding bosses. We have just had a wave of redundancies a few weeks ago so I'm not sure I'd be doing myself any favours if I told them the real reason. I also have a male boss so I might try womans issues and hope they don't probe any furtherDeposit savings £8,000/£25,000£14,000 by 31/12/110

Hi Toniq, I have not had any issues with the cyclogest, but we use it in the back so to speak so no leaking. Saying that, we are still not pg after all these tries so who knows if they work. The injections (Gestone) are obviosuly less messy and more direct BUT sorry they are damn painful, they left me bruised and with lumps under the skin for a long time after treatment stopped. And even when we have had alternative progesterone support we have had the pessaries at the same time. We are currently on Crinone gel, which is applied a bit like the internal canesten cream, no problems so far (touch wood!!) along with the cyclogest.
FET does dpeend a lot on the person, on what you have frozen etc and how you respond. We have immune issues so have to have a lot of extra meds each cycle to suppress problems, but if you have a natural FET, within your cycle (if you are regular) it involves a scan early in your cycle to ake sure there are no probs cysts or anything, then daily home testing from day 10 to check for OV. Then when you OV they will thaw out what is needed for your cycle and time them to go back in (dependant how big when frozen) Then in they go and you go away with progesterone support and a date to test. If you are not regular cycled they will do a medicated cycle but i'm sorry I'm not sure how that works as I havent had it.
Hope this helps.
4 more sleeps til test day. Eeek.2 angels in heaven :A0 -
The pessaries are very messy and melt over ur undies!
http://www.fertilityfriends.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=87303.12
That shows oneof many many ivfers trying to figure it out x
I'm hoping the change of pessaries to pio injections might mean a chance for me, my embabies are good, I react well to ivf+icsi, maybe a bit more neurotic than normal, it's just that end stage i come a cropper every time xxx
Ivf is def a learning curve! xx
I don't like the pessaries either as they are so messy but this time I think I will use them all in the back door (sorry TMI) to prevent the mess and the leakage.
Its great that you react well to IVF and ICSI but trying to understand why its not taking is hard.
I on the other hand don't react that well and this time I am going on the max drugs they can give me. I had trouble last time that as soon as my eggs where injected they dissolved into nothing and only had one embie out of a possible 7. This time I am hoping for a better result all round, but then again aren't we all.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -

I rang the hospital today to see if I could chase up my appointment and they have me pencilled in for the middle of May... I was told it would be March or April. I'm going to try to speak to my consultant to see if it can be brought forward at all and to check that I'm on their cancellation list.
Lisa - fingers crossed for test day0 -
so sorry mnc. I've had three and they're awful. Keep posting.0

was at the clinic on monday and doc very happy with weight loss she done another 21 day blood test while there. she said i am ov'in then i will be refer for laparoscopy if not it will be 6 months of clomid. just wondered what the lap would involve? googling it it would appear an op is that right? doc said she will send us a letter either to come back to clinic for clomid to be started or be on waiting list for procedure so dont know whats happening exactly. wonder when i will i will find out. af due end of week start of next roughly (or whenever it decides)
hope everyone is ok
sorry bout your news mnc:A VK :A0 -
Hi VK,
I've had a laparoscopy, mine was just a camera in and a good look around to see if there was anything that could be hiding that could be causing my infertility, Camera went vaginally so no scars, i had it under a general and came home a few hours later, had a bit of bloating and a mild period type pain but nothing else, i really hoped they had found something to explain my issues but they didn't.
I also had a dye test can't think of exact name where they injected dye in and watched it on a screen to see eif my tubes were fine, which they were, that test was one of the first they offered me before any treatment started.
Loads of luck xx
Lots and lots of stickyvibes for lisa xxxxxxxxxx#JusticeForGrenfell0 -
I've never had lap & dye, only HSG.
I had my 3rd (and probably last) IUI today:)
I didn't get that ov pain, so knew I hadn't ov'd, and I was right. But the scan showed the follicle already starting to rupture, so hopefully it was timed OK.
The washed sperm count was 24 million 3% morphology. It was 28 million last time, so not much difference.
If this fails, then I'm having a rest next cycle and perhaps start ICSI in April short protocol. I'm away at the beginning of April, but unmedicated cycle will probably mean back to my usual late ov, so I should be back in time for IVF:o
Let the 2ww begin, again...:o0
