Hi all, I've been keeping up with you all but hadn't had chance to post. Just had to reply to sarahs999 though as it made me laugh! Yes I have that problem too. occasionally I try the legs in the air technique or just trying to stay as still as possible, but often I do just head to the loo and hope some has stayed behind.

I wouldn't recommend using a tampon due to the TSS risk, but maybe I could try my mooncup...

I feel like things are really moving now as I had my pre op yesterday and have my lap and dye a week today :-)

Well, had my 21ish day results and am now not ovulating. - Anything else anyone can throw at me?

At least my friend looks like it is stage 2 or 3 anyway. She is rather relieved, as are we!

I hope that this months result was just one off. It does happen. And I am happy for your friend. Fingers crossed all goes well.

Nothing new here. I am so exhausted, I am worried of feeling asleep at work. Honestly. I hope I can stay awake to drive home! I have been a bit 'under the weather', but it is not cold or flu, I think I am just in general tired. Haven't been going to bed early either, so I guess it is just a build up of lack of sleep. Maybe I can catch up over the next few nights, as it is not funny at all.

I have just under 3 weeks until our appointment to hear what the doctors think went wrong and what can we do for the next time. Will see. I think I might be staying where I am for now and getting on with the next cycle, but, to be honest, every day seems to be harder and harder to be in this office. I think I need a break.... And some sleep.

I know how you feel Gin with regard to the office. I hate it here but nothing I can do. I promised myself if my next cycle doesn't work (but of course it will!) I have to change jobs as well as career, I just can't do it anymore its a living nightmare.

With regards to the pillow, I remember reading that if you get the pillow too high, you can end up getting the semen behind your cervix, and so you end up doing more harm than good. Just something to consider...

There's also a theory that it depends on how your uterus lies, and that if you have a retroverted uterus (one which is tilted slightly towards the back) that it is in fact better to lie flat on your stomach for a while afterwards. This worked for me, but I knew in advance that my uterus was tilted, and you don't always unless someone happens to mention it to you in passing during a smear or something. It is quite common and in itself doesn't affect fertility.

Ginzvt - make sure you get to bed early tonight! I've also been struggling to get used to the early mornings again after Christmas, it puts me in a miserable mood and makes work so much harder. you'd think I'd learn my lesson and get to bed early but I end up avoiding going to bed as I don't want to get up and go to work. I used to have an alarmat night to tell ne to go to bed...I might have to set it up again!

Lilo - glad things are looking better for your friend. sorry about your blood test, but I agree that it will hopefully just be an off month - are they going to re-test?

Tampons - don't leave post-DTD tampon in longer than 30 mins, and no risk of TSS.

And finally...gaargh. I thought it would be safe to look on Facebook, since everyone I know is now officially pregnant. But no - one of my pg friends has announced it's twins. She's lovely and I will be pleased in time, but right now it's just another kick in the teeth.

I used to put my legs up in air but now I just keep in bed for 30 mins after, I have a kink in mine she said that this could be a bit difficult at egg collection need to get that far yet!!

Hi everyone, hope your all ok and have lots of PMA's !

I am so laid back now that I might fall over I was due to start my final cycle of FSH last week and on the morning of my first injection I woke up knowing that I couldn't do it - so I didn't !!!

Over xmas OH and I have really got ourselves into a good head space about all this TTC'ing. I feel like I have put my life on hold for so long now that I need to start living it plus I really found the hormones too much to handle. So thats it for us, we're not trying at all this year - instead we are going to live our lives, enjoy each other, enjoy our home, enjoy our animals and totally chill !

I really feel like this new attitude has lifted my spirits so much.
I am going to ring my consultant tomorrow and cancel my next follow-up appt which was due in Feb - will change it to later in the year and then see how we feel nearer the time.
