It's easy to lose heart and get sick of it, isn't it, no matter how much we want those babies. The consultant mentioned that I should lose some weight to maximise chances, saying that it seems to be a much bigger factor than they used to think. I am about 1.5 stones heavier than I was when I had Archie so I need to knuckle down.

God, if that turns out to be it, just one more thing to feel guilty about - picturing the 'being fat killed my babies' headlines now....

Woke up in the night with really bad af type pains but worse and more concentrated. Was sure af had arrived this morning but no sign. Had funny cramps on and off all day but still no show. Am due today and my cycle has been much more regular since starting the clomid. I would test only I'm frightened I'll burst my little bubble!

Oh JoJo, how about testing in a few days or so then? Either that or I hope you start feeling better soon, as that doesn't sound good. I would be getting excited, but I'm really bad about doing that!

Very low here too still but we have managed a bit of bed exercise in the last week, so at least we are able to every now and again which is a relief. Work is ridiculously busy so is keeping me occupied for now!

I'll have a lemon and ginger tea please...

Well, hubby is all relaxed and loving me again after our big chat on the weekend. The intention was for some afternoon delight today (gotta love the holidays...) but you know what, I'm really off it at the moment. Don't know what's wrong with me.
Counsellor's secretary said we were to ring tomorrow if we haven't been phoned with an appointment yet. I could really do with being told that all the feelings OH and I are going through are normal. And being given some ideas of how to deal with it all. I'm feeling a little more relaxed with my life generally at the moment, but OH and I have decided that we're not going to concentrate on TTC at least until I've seen the gynae consultant about my tube removal op - and I would like a professional opinion on doing that - without wasting the consultant's time. I know it's all still NHS, but I really thought that it would be quicker to see a counsellor than this...

I'll get some biscuits to go with all this tea. Chocolate bourbons I think.

  • Jiblets- Hi sweetie!

I just want to say that you are perfectly normal, there are lots of women who feel like us :o Counselling shoud be quicker shouldn't it!

A great site where I get lots of support is fertilityzone.co.uk. There's lots of different sections and like TTC naturally, Clomid, IVF etc. When I was on clomid the girls there were fantastic and a fair few got their BFP whilst I was trying. I used to call it the devils drug! I have a diary on there (once you've made 25 posts, a few more different bits open up to you).

Anyway, if you look me up I'm Andie20521 on there.

I lifted this off the site for you

    Clomid Roller Coaster -The Rules!

    1. Under no circumstances make any important decisions whilst riding the clomid rollercoaster, minstrels versus malteasers should be the biggest decision you should allow yourself to make.

    2. Whilst riding this rollercoaster, please keep your hands and feet to yourself, persons found to be punching or kicking others will be asked to leave the theme park by the management.

    3. Height restrictions apply. All persons on rollercoaster must be tall enough to reach the choccie biccie tin that your dh may have inadvertantly placed on a high shelf.

4.PLease secure any loose clothing, jewellery or eyewear, as flying into the "clomid rage" part of the ride may cause these to become loose or to fall and the management accepts no responsibility to any damage to personal possesions.

    5. Do not operate any machinary whilst partaking of the clomid experience, any tractor/forklift/road rage is not the responsibility of the management

6.Prior to entering this ride, the management recommends all dvd's such as pretty woman, city of angels, pay it forward, and/or any other tear inducing material be removed from your possesion for the duration of the ride.

    7. Coldplay/the smiths cd's are strictly prohibited, as are all other musical artists who fall under the genre "music to self harm to".

8.Your husband doesnt understand you now, nor will he understand you whilst on the clomid rollercoaster.Don't expect him to. Always remember, the day a man understands a woman........ we've lost!

9.Men do not find the sight of a positive ovulation predictor pee stick arousing, waving it in his face whilst shouting " get ur kit off i need your love juice!" is not a recognised form of foreplay.

10.This is a scary ride, be brave it won't last forever!!!!

Thanks, Winky, looking forward to that (not)! I need a miracle this month, so I won't have to take the rollercoaster...
