Gin - great news on the follicles, good luck for tomorrow - hope there's some super high quality free rangers in there.

Chickpea (TTC and almost cycle buddy) - I'm the same, not stressed but just want to know what on earth could be wrong.

I still need to go to the Doctors about my seemily super short AF visits but Doc has said that he doesn't want to see me until Dec...ember...it is December, I'd better get myself booked in! I'll try to wait to see what happens at the end of this cycle first though.

I'm somewhere in the 2WW - I think - I havent been using any kind of ov predictor because although I started using cbfm I missed day 1 of poas so gave up. And tbh I find it easier to get in the mood for BD without the pressure of knowing that todays the day.

I dont even know what cd I'm on so no-one could accuse me of obsessing about it this month!

I replenished my pg test supplies last night at Asda and the lady at the checkout asked me what result I was hoping for!! I was a bit taken aback for a second but she seemed nice and was a complete stranger (its not my local supermarket) so no harm in telling her. Although she was very forward (she then asked me if it was my first!), she was nice with it and wished me lots of luck. I thought I might have been angry if someone had asked me something so personal (only my DH and bf know for goodness sake!) but she actually made me smile

At the moment, I'm concentrating on 2 points, my tubes may have been blocked (had HSG so should be sorted:cool:), and my DH's admission that he needs 5 days to recharge his swimmers.

The one time I got pg (mc) was after 5 days recharging, and we've never done that since, so worth a shot:p Don't know when we'll get the chance next, hoping I ov sometime after 19th Dec (so that DH is here with me):cool:

For me OPKs and CBFM is essential:o

I bought a twinpack of CB digis when they were on offer and forgot to check the date on the pack - they only had about 4 months left on them...not very MSE of me! I ended up using them when AF was late even though I'd had a negative with an IC. I'm not buying anymore until I need them and if I do need them then I wont care that it costs me an extra £5 or so!

So, I had EC today. Not good news - they only collected 1 egg. They will be calling tomorrow to tell what happened to it overnight and if it fertilised, when the ET will happen, most likely Saturday. (I don't expect them to let it go to blastocyst, as there is only 1 egg).

I know what everyone keeps saying - you only need 1 egg, but I honestly don't hold much hope. Let's be honest - you read about 10-15 eggs collected and only few of those fertilising, I have 1 egg. There is no fall back.

Oh well, it did say that we will be give 2 cycles on NHS. So lets use them both! Oh, and if it doesn't work, I am seriously considering changing my job in the New Year.

Hi Gin - sorry there's only one egg after all that. When will you know if it has fertilised?

I have a friend who had successful IVF on the back of one egg - but yes, she knows she was lucky. I do hope luck is with you on this one, because you will need it, as you acknowledge.

I hope the job change will not be a stressful one (if it comes to it..)

The job change might the best thing - I have been talking about changing it for a while now, but then didn't want to in the midst of all these things. They have been good to me, but I am finding it not challenging enough at some times, no support (training/help) when needed and I am stuck in the same position (no promotion), even though I have very good reviews all the time (the last one half a year ago said will recommend for promotion at the next possible opportunity -well, guess what, nothing happened, and there were plenty of opportunities!). I loved my previous job, and I could, I would go back there tomorrow (no, today!), unfortunately, it is too far. I 'knew' this company wasn't for me after first week - I am still there 2.5 years later.
