Good luck!:j:j:jI am going for my scan at 9 am (have to leave in next 20 min to get there in time), and having the rest of the day off. Too much holiday left to use up this year!
I was thinking the same thing:huh:Does all this mean I should be eating lots of protein every month to help ttc?0 -
Yes, good luck, hope all goes well...0

Good luck with the scan, Gin. It's nerve-wracking stuff..
I'm on CD12, SWI started CD6 - good to get a headstart!

All my Christmas do's are between 14-18 Dec, right when I'll have either PMT or the BFN blues! I'll have to not drink at all, otherwise I'll end up weeping at anyone that'll listen! Ho Ho Ho!0 -
So, my scan. This was the best experience I had of all the scans. The nurses where very kind, and answered any questions I asked them. So, for the follicles.... I have more!!!!! There are at least 8 on left side, and looks like 3 or more on the right as well. 6 of them are more than 10mm, I think the biggest one was 14. I am to increase my dose to 4 powders and to come back for another scan on Monday. The earliest possible day for egg collection - Wednesday. They will not plan egg collection until I have at least one follicle above 17mm.
So, something is working - I am going to have another evening with my hot water bottle and cat, and I stocked up on milk.
I had a nice day afterwards with a bit of shopping. Went to Liverpool One, and spend there half an hour - I only wanted to go to Lakeland to stock up on jars for the jams! On the way home felt so hungry, that decided to stop and have a bit of food at Ikea. Ok, not healthy, but better than passing out on the motorway. I actually bought a bar of chocolate yesterday for these occasions to keep in the car, but left it on the kitchen counter this morning. Never mind, I will learn one day.
So, went around Ikea, got some new mugs for home (the old one have all the glazing cracked, so thought it is time to replace them), and a few more bits. Went home left the shopping and went of to HomeSense to get a muffin baking tray (bought some muffin cases in Lakeland), biscuit sheet and a big bowl with lid for home made bread (I got the book 'Artisan bread in 5 minutes' yesterday...). Didn't find the bowl I wanted, but found Eva Trio bowl for £2! (I love Eva Solo stuff and just yesterday my Smiley bowl and Tea maker arrived - courtesy of Emirates, used up miles we got for our last holiday).
Ok, off making some muffins and jam (raspberry and lime).Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Congrats on your follicles!:j:T:j0

Oh ginvzt, sounds like you've had a lovely day! Congrats for the follicles. And please can I try some of your home baking when it's done
Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
You are welcome to come - I have just put the raspberry and lime jam in the jars and there is home made bread (ok, not today), and lots of milk in the fridge!
Orange jam is just getting ready to go in the jars. But this time I used the shortcut from Lakeland to make it - they have tins of prepared oranges for the jam! Will see how it tastes. Oh, and muffins - not my thing I have never managed to make good muffins. Don't know why!
One thing forgot to mention about today - the cyst is back. Yes, the same one they 'had' to drain just a week ago. It was 4cm then, it is just over 3cm now. Lots of noise with no result.Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
Brilliant news Gin, all going in the right direction, and I dont blame you stopping in ikea - yum yum!
Ill have a muffin too. LiloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -

Glad your follicles got their act together, Gin. Sounds promising.

I'm on CD13, had a second line on OPK, not a +ve line, but makes me thing +ve line might be earlier than normal (normal is CD16-20). Maybe because of the Clomid? We DTD anyway (after skipping last night, in favour of...telly! Everyone deserves a holiday.)
Good luck everyone.0
