Hmmm... How long is your luteal phase? Could it be short? (ie short LP = less stuff to shed?)
LP is at least 14 days - sometimes 15 AFAIK.
I'm going to start using CBFM again this month so that I can check when I'm ov'ing. Becuase my cycles are getting longer, it might have moved. I forgot to reset it last month (even though I havent used any sticks for a few months now, I've still been resetting it so I know what day I'm on) - it thinks last month was a 62 day cycle, whoops!0 -
Morning all you positive, optimistic and definitely fertile folk!
I've hemmed and hawed a bit I know, but I decided after all that yesterday was CD01 (in the fertility expert's definition of 'full flow' - it was really still spotting on Sunday, albeit of the red v. pink kind.)
So I went to the hospital and did the FSH test yesterday and I have taken the first Climid tablet today. I'll do the CD21 Progesterone test too, at which point she is going to write to me and tell me whether Clomid dosage is OK or whether I can go up to 100mg.
I'm on Day 6 of sobriety and next step is cutting down on sugar -I think I read somewhere that wild blood sugar swings can be a problem for fertility. So it's farewell to mint aero's, at least for now. Bye bye.
Good luck one and all!0 -

Hopefully Clomid will do its magic on your first cycle:j

I was still thinking about AF delaying drug, and noticed something strange. I was told to take it 3 times a day from 27th Nov - 11th Dec (15 days), but that means one needs 45 pills. They only gave me 40:huh:
I then re-thought, perhaps he meant take it from 27th Nov for 11 days (until 7th Dec). That'll come to 33 pills, and it'll mean I'll have my AF on 10th Dec, and then my day 12 scan will fall into 22nd Dec, a day after I come back.
Don't know why it is written 27th Nov - 11th Dec. Perhaps a miss print?
Anyway, 11 days is not bad. I've taken it for 7 days couple of times, and no side effects. Obviously it being 4 days longer may cause something, but hope it's not much:o

I'm still waiting for ov, it's CD19, CBFM is still low...0 -
Hi all, well I had a good weekend with my pregnant friend. Only time I real felt sad was when I went for a nosey in the nursery they are putting together, and I just felt so jealous. It makes it seem so simple and easy when others fall pregnant so quickly. If only it was so simple for all of us.
Hi Maddie - glad you managed to enjoy yourself. I'm not sure I would have done. I'm going to have to get over my aversion to all things 'other people's babies' soon.
Thanksfully, like you, it only hits home properly once a month, in the PMT week. Then I go a bit frenzied.
How long have you been TTC?0 -
We've been trying since May 09, although I've been 'waiting' even longer than that as I've always wanted to be a mum so it feels like I've been waiting since I was about 16 (now 27). But waited until I'd done a levels abduction got a degree, then until I'd worked for a few years, then until I'd gotten my professional qualification, then until we were married and I'd built up the maximum maternity leave entitlement.
I always had thought it was 'normal' to have your first child at around 21 since both my sisters and my mum had kids at this point, but I've always been the 'sensible' one.Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
I am still around. I have one more injection to go before the scan (and then plenty more afterwards!).
I think the side effects are starting to show up. I am literally burning this morning in the office! I was ok at home, and when I got out of the car when I arrived at work, I couldn't really walk in the straight line, was really dizzy. To be honest, I am still dizzy sitting here at my desk now, 45 min later. Have to be careful around the corners today! So, this is just like when I was on Clomid - it just took a while to show up, I now had 18 injections of Buserelin, and apart from 2 migraines I could walk in straight lines!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
CD20, High on CBFM at last:o
The LH line is getting pretty strong, it may become positive tonight.
I usually ov (according to FF) on the 1st Peak.
If I ov tomorrow, that'll mean my AF will arrive 14 or 15 days later on Dec 2nd or 3rd. My earliest ov was CD15, so that'll mean Dec 16th onwards. DH can only come over from Dec 18th:(
My past 6 ovs are:
July cycle Clomid 50mg Ov CD15
Aug cycle Clomid 50mg Ov CD22
Sep cycle Clomid 100mg no sign of ov at CD14 scan cycle cancelled
Oct cycle Clomid 50mg + Puregon 75iu Ov CD16
Nov cycle Clomid 50mg + Puregon 75iu Ov CD21 or 22?
Dec cycle Clomid 50mg + Puregon 100iu Ov???
What are the chances of me oving after CD18?
My chart is here:http://www.fertilityfriend.com/home/286900
Looks like I should delay AF by few days:(0 -

Good luck for your scan. Sorry you are having side effects, I was one of the lucky ones as it doesn't really effect me. There are more side effects with the stimm drugs so hopefully you won't suffer to much.
I got my price list for my next ICSI and just like I thought about £5,000:eek:. Why does it have to be so expensive!
Oh well, we have treated ourselves to a weeks holiday in Egypt next week for a little bit of R&R and sun. I think we both deserve it.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -

I know, the price for private treatment is very high! I am lucky that I have 2 goes on NHS (until they change that).
Enjoy your holiday, you do deserve it!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0
