    It is 1 injection a day until the scan (it will be 19 days in total). If all is ok during the scan, I start menopur, whilst continuing with buserelin, so it will be 2 injections a day, until I am told to stop. I will have day 9/10 scan, after which I will either be asked to come for another scan or be given date and time for EC. (The consultant mentioned day 7 scan as well, so I might have more than 1 scan for follicles). At this time I will be told when exactly I need to get my Gonasi (HCG) injection and 36 hours later will be the time for EC. After which, on the evening of the following day, I start pessaries. 2 a day, until the test.

    There are no tablets, just injections and pessaries.

    Sounded like me a few weeks ago. Glad its all going well. I know what you mean about finding the right spot to do the needle, sometimes it just doesn't want to go in so just try another bit. Sending lots of luck.

    No changes here, a few twinges now and then and sore b o o b s have gone a bit. I may do a test on Wed as I will be 12 days then and I don't think I can wait any longer. Was crying last night because I think its a BFN and I am getting myself worked up over it.

    Jujugaboo - glad it is not only me that has 'odd spots' where needle wouldn't go in.

    Is it 12 days post transfer or post EC? I guess you had the HCG shot as well, and don't forget, that it takes time for that to clear out of your system. I was told by the nurse last week, that they recommend doing the test 16 days post EC. Best of luck!

    Wednesday will 12 days post transfer. I had the HCG shot and all the effects of that would be gone by now but I am not sure if the pesseries give you any side effects (apart from wind!).

    Stop scaring me! At least I am planing to take my all remaining annual leave in December (18 days in total), so I would be home 'enjoying the wind' and not in the office.

    When did your clinic advised you to test?

    I tested 8 days post transfer (blastocyst) and then spent the next 6 worrying that my BFP was some sort of optical illusion and therefore felt the need to test every morning until official test day. (mind you i did manage to rack up quite a few extra boots advantage card points from buying all those tests)

    Good luck

    I am sure I will be tempted to test early. I already have quite a bit of Boots points (I always keep thinking will be useful for nappies or maybe even a pushchair, if I don't get my way and buy Stokke one - I have over £260 worth, might add some more with all the Christmas presents)

    Well done on the waiting JuJu. Weds sounds fair enough, there's a good chance of an accurate result by then. But really, the longer the better. I do hope it's a BFP - remember, early symptoms are just unreliable!

    ++++++++++++++

    Gin - enjoy the needles! I'm only half-joking - I just had acupuncture and I think I'm addicted to the pain...there's a name for people like me, I'm sure.Anyway, I'm gaving another session next week, then maybe once a month while I do Clomid (due to start in about 12 days. Coincidentally - not - testing is 11 days.

    ++++++++

    I think I called OV wrong though - had profuse EWCM today, most there has been all month, so I reckon it was today. What sort of a LP that'll leave me with I don't know. We will see.

    Good luck.

    Hi Chickpea,

    Just wondered how you are finding the acupuncture? I'm going for a consulation this week whilst I wait to appt to see gynacologist (just found out I'm not ovulating). Feel I need to do something, even if it's jsut to reduce my stress.
