Juicy girl, it may be that you ovulated later than the textbook 14 days, and it hasnt picked it up - if they had done it a couple of days later, it may have confirmed - just a thought!
Hi everyone, sorry to be MIA for a while, have been below par and not really had much to add.
Juju, I have my fingers crossed for you! Dont worry re symptoms, the emby wouldnt embed until 5 - 7 days after implantation, so your hsg injection will wear off before any preg symptoms start. You are not out until the little stick says no! I am thinking of you, and so hope that this is your time XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
Hugs to all - good luck to all of you starting the trek that is IVF

Thanks lilo.
Sore b o o b s are back, (8 days after implantation now) I am hoping this is a good sign or maybe this a side effect of the pesseries? Few twinges yesterday but my sysmptons are different from last time so I can only hope this is a good sign.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -
Hi,
I've posted a few times on the trying for a baby thread but I'm looking for some experiences of this.
Just had results of a day 21 progesterone test which should I am not ovulating. I am 29 years old and been off the pill for 10 months. To say I am shocked and upset is an understatement. Unfortunately I left My GP's very upset and did not think to ask the questions I should have. She has referred my to a gynacologist but in the meantime I just have no clue what to do.
Has anyone else here experienced this and gone on to have a baby? Can I get help on the NHS for this?
Sorry if this makes no sense, not even sure what I am asking really. Just desparate for a baby and now that feels like it may never happen........
Hi Juicy girl,
After coming off the pill when I was 28 and ttc for 12 months it turned out I wasn't ovulating - I charted for months 10 and 11 before going back to GP - and I had extemely erratic cycles (anything from 30 to 80 days!).
My GP prescribed Clomid and on the second cycle I did indeed get pregnant.
My DS is now 16 months, and I am due no2 in Feb. When I told GP we wanted to try for another one, he prescribed Clomid again and said we would probably need it this time round too, and to use it from the off. So after coming off the pill again, I waited for my first proper cycle to start so I could begin taking the Clomid, and I waited and waited, in the end turned out I was already pregnant and didn't need it.
After 15 months ttc for the first, I still remember the emotional pain every month when nothing happened.0 -

As for me... AF arrived:(
Have to talk to DH, but I think I'll try IUI one more time then IVF this Feb or from late Jan. May cut out the IUI this cycle to save some money though:o0 -
Juicygirl - as a few people have said, clomid normally makes you O and is available on NHS. Even if that doesn't work there are lots of other options
Q - sorry about the witch turning up (hugs)0 -
Juicygirl, definately don't panic over the bad day 21 test. As many have said, lots of people can have a negative day 21 test, and find that they don't really have a problem. The irregular cycles only adds to this possibility, as in a 60 day cycle you would be unlikely to be ovulating on day 21. Having said that, irregular cycles themselves are something to monitor, and personally, I feel that doctors don't comment much about irregular cycles, but certainly in my case it was indicative of several problems.
Also from my own experience, a stressful job can have a huge effect on your cycles and ability to conceive. Try to find ways to reduce the stress, even if it's just allowing certain things to wash over you or beginning a course of massage/acupuncture/reflexology etc
Good luck!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Af arrived here to Q. So I guess we're cycle buddies again!0
