I had my scan today, and the eggs both grew to 18mm:j
The doctor said both will probably release.

I was given a trigger injection (Pregnyl 5000iu), and it hurt! (It was in my bum:o).
I should ovulate in 36-40hrs, which would put it 7-3hrs before my IUI:huh: (I thought the swimmers had to be there waiting for the egg, not the other way around).

NO problem Murray! I've lost 3.5 stone, actually 4.5 since my heaviest point, which was a while back now. I feel like a different person! And look like one too, which is a good thing.

    Hi girls

You probably don't remember me but I posted for a few days a couple of months ago. Unfortunately since then I've had a chemical pregnancy (BFP at 10dpo, mc 9 days later). I'm taking this month off, then going back on the clomid next month and hopefully another BFP for Xmas!

Q - The egg will live for 12-24 hours after ovulation so that's timed perfectly. Normally they say that the sperm should be there earlier because it lives a lot longer and so increases your chances of the 2 meeting, but if you do IUI they wash the sperm so it doesn't live as long. So don't worry, just after O is perfect timing. Fingers crossed that it all goes well. Have they said to BD tonight or if he should save his swimmers?

J - are you doind ICSI? Good luck

Sarah - well done on the weightloss

I'm so sorry for your mc (((hugs))). Hope you'll get your BFP before Christmas:)

Thank you for the information, really relieved to know that the egg can live survive longer than 6hrs:o Hope DH's swimmers will catch the egg:o
We were told not to BD until he produces the sample on Sat morning.

I am still here. Nothing new, just waiting for the medication to be delivered, then drugs appointment and in 2 weeks and 1 day I will have to start the injections. It feels a long journey ahead, as we will not know the outcome of all this until the second half of December probably (that is if we don't have to abandon the cycle for some reason).

As for the other news - we have exchanged the contracts on our house yesterday! Since we are already living there, we can't really see anything going wrong, and my hands are itching to start working. I have requested a wallpaper stripper, or a sander, or any other diy tool for my birthday. I think I might be poping into B&Q tonight to get some colour samples for the walls. I think the first room will be the current 'spare room/laundry room/nursery' (it was a room for our godson and any other children that visited us since we lived in this house).
