Hello all. Can anyone jog my memory about OPKs - I've been a bit slack this first month of trying and haven't been temping, and have also been forgetting to OPK at the right time. It's about my ov time now but no line; would it show if I had oved this morning, for example? Or does the line only come pre-ov? And also, when you have egg-white cm, I know that indicates ov is imminent, but how imminent? Two days? Three days?

I used to know all this off by heart but it's been so long....

Sarah, some people only have a LH spike, in which case it is easy to miss. Others have longer surge.

You should do opks twice a day, once in the afternoon, and one in the evening, with concentrated urine (having not drank or been to the wc for about 3 hrs beforehand).

One ov's 12-36hrs after first + opk (line should be the same or darker than the control line).
It may remain so for a bit.

As for ewcm, it is different for everyone. I get it for several days.

Thanks. I've usually been able to get a reading in the late morning - I thought that was when the LH spiked? Anyway, will check again tomorrow. THanks for the link.

just stopping by to say hi and hope all are doing well!

im with the lets stop SS club! nearly 4 years down the line and only one bfp (m/C) i think i should just wait until i get that double line before i can relax
lets just hope its sooner rather than later

My medication arrived yesterday. The amount of needles!!! I think there are about 80 needles all in, and then the syringes, vials, powders, etc... Scary stuff. There are some huge needles, I think those are for mixing the medication, and I really hope I do not need to inject myself with those! (I think it said gauge 18, and they are really thick! Others were gauge 30...)

I think one needs to relax to get BFP:o

I've been trying to relax but it's just not possible.
I can feel my stomach being tense all the time.

It started of positive...I had my EC yesterday which was fine, didn't like the needle to put me to sleep but apart from that didn't feel a thing. They collected 7 eggs which 5 where mature. I had some bleeding last night and was very tired. They called this morning to tell me only one egg has taken and all the others where abnormal or didn't like being injected. I had a little cry and then pulled myself together - I was so hoping for more than one just so we had a better choice on what to put back up. I have the transfer tomorrow afternoon assuming all is OK with the one we have got - they are going to ring in the morning just to let mw know all is OK.

I am now pinning all my hopes on this little one to work for us, but can't help feeling down about it.
