I've got the Boots fertility pack as well - thermometer and diary.
Thanks QQ. I hope so too. I go between quite sure I am and quite sure I am not all the time. It's annoying. I have quite a few symptoms but we all know that can mean nothing - AF symptoms are exactly the same. My only hope is my temp is still high and those pains I get in my pelvis. Trouble is, because of my irregular cycle I don't even know when I am due for a visit from witch to be able to test. I was negative yesterday - DPO11 - so I thought I won't try again until Sunday morning as that will be the end of my 2ww.
You know, I really hope your injections work for you QQ. You're always here helping others and answering lots of questions, it would be very nice for you to receive some good news soon :-)
Hmm.. been alright all afternoon but here comes the pain again... grrrr... it better be worth it!!! :rotfl:0 -
I've heard acupuncture is good for IVF, but have never had either.
If I were you, I'd eat pineapple too to help implantation, but that's just me:o
Good luck!:j
Thanks, I am already having acupunture and this helps. Not a fan of pineapple but I think I will give it a go once the implantation has been done.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -

I think I am giving up for good now.
Just heard of a friends sister who struggled to conceive like me, had similar pattern, mmc and then an ectopic.
Then she conceived, had a great pregnancy and at 35 weeks they found severy abnormalities. she gave birth 2 weeks premature to a little girl who is severley mentally and physically disabled. I know I am not strong enough to cope with that.
We are back to adoption again, we still have all the forms and will complete them this weekend.
Good luck to you all xxxxx2014 = New Year, New Me0 -

Hi Mennie - so sorry to hear that about your friends sister...terribly sad. If you decide that adoption is the best route for you then I really think you should go for it but if I were you, I wouldn't rule out conceiving naturally just yet. I hope I'm not speaking out of turn but having a disabled child is a risk we all take whether conceiving comes naturally to us or not. Unless I'm mistaken, its only those with genetic problems that are at a higher risk and thousands, possibly millions of people who have had mmc and/or ectopic pg's go on to have perfectly healthy babies. Perhaps its something to speak to your doctor about if you haven't already before you rule it out completely. Good luck

Anybody got any (ICSI) tips on what I should be or should not be doing like eating and not eating etc anybody who has been successful, any help would be appreciated.
Lots of protein ( I had lots of glasses of milk) - but don't go overboard with the eggs as I ended up constipated and it wasn't fun.
I had hot-water bottles every evening too, but I think you only do this while you're growing the eggies, don't have hot water bottles after embryo transfer.
You will bloat up, so just make yourself comfortable - I wore lots of dresses etc so there was no waistband to rub on me. I was really warm in the nights so I had a cold flannel to rub me down. Make sure you keep moving your injection point around too. I had one really big bruise, I think I'd caught a point that was damaged from the previous day, so oops...
And just keep at it. I had some days where I really felt I didn't want to carry on any more, but I kept my eyes on the prize and it was worth it in the end...Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -

:T:T:T:T:T:T:T:T The computer is back!!!
Well, as usual I am late! Af should have been here yesterday and absolutely no sign, well, I thought she was on the way, had the back ache and weak legs that I usually get when imminent but nada. I havent been well the last week or 2 with balance probs etc but that is the fibro playing up I am sure. BBs are slightly tender but I get that anyway. So, there you go, not sure how long I will wait this time, but sure as eggs as eggs, it will appear in its own time.
Mennie, I am really sad to hear about your friends sister. I do agree though, that your story is your own and any of us could have a disabled child - that is the luck of the draw. But at the end of the day, you must decide what is right for you and only you can do that (and OH) but you must feel comfortable with it. Dont let fear make the decision for you. Give it plenty of thought. Adoption will give you the joy of parenthood, but it can also be a very long and painful route as well. I wish you all the love and light in the world as you decide what is right for you.XXXXXXXXXXXX
Have a good weekend, not too much
