    yay! s0me g00d news at last! u can't ask f0r better than straight away - g00d luck.

Tabatha Kitten - n0t such g00d news. Blimey - he must have been gutted. What a sh0ck. Can they extract sperm fr0m his testes f0r ICSI? Have u th0ught ab0ut d0n0r sperm?

    _________

    Lil0 - n0, we haven't g0t new c0mputer - I have merely devel0ped n0 small degree 0f c0py and paste skills in the meantime. Impessive, n0? Sh0uld have new 0ne t0m0rr0w!

    _________________

    SK - s0rT 0f g00d and bad news. The fact there r s0me sperm is g00d news 0f s0rts - u sh0uld be g00d candidates f0r ICSI. mY friend had it, w0rked first time - I h0pe u have the same luck. 0h, and despite his p00r sperm c0unt, they even c0nceived naturally this year, which they were t0ld w0uld never happen.

    __________

    QQ - I kn0w what u mean ab0ut d0rit0s. I have just finished a bag - but I 0nly n0ticed late in the game that there was a small h0le at the b0tt0m 0f the bag. There is d0rit0 dust everywhere.

    ________

    VK - af. wHAT A bee-atch. 0h well.

    _________

F0r myself, I have decided t0 ditch the pma - that hasn't w0rked - s it's time f0r s0me 'nma'. The thing is, with pma, I all0w myself t0 believe each m0nth it may happen, s0 when it d0esn't, it's such a crashing disapp0intment. With nma, I shall think 'it's unlikely t0 happen', but all0w myself the chance t0 be surprised if it d0es. Which is unlikely.

0n that negative n0te - take care 0ne and all!

    Hello

Do you mind if I join you? I'm (just turned) 30 and DH is 39 - we've been TTC #1 since Sept 09 with no success. After giving it 13 months (because 13 is my lucky number!) we went to the Dr's and are now starting all the tests to find out what the problem might be. So far, I've had blood tests and DH has had his swimmers tested and we are eagerly awaiting the results.

A few years ago I did have LLETZ or a cone biopsy (I dont even know which...I was too traumatised to ask!!) to remove CIN3 cells and our Dr did wonder whether the scar tissue on my cervix was preventing DH's swimmers getting in? It's early days anyway but I wondered whether anyone here had had or heard of something similar?

I look forward to getting to know you all.

    M :)

I have also had Lletz and was assured it would have no effect on my fertility. My issue isnt getting pregnant its staying pregnant, Hope you get some answers

    hey

    Can i join?

    Bit of background....................

Been trying since August 2007, first fell pregnant in December 2007 and had a missed mc. Was alerted to this at my 12 week scan on my birthday:( I passed this naturally 2 weeks later on Mothers Day :(:(

I fell pg straight away again in March 2008 and had another mmc in April, it wouldnt come away naturally, I had too rounds of abortion drugs in May, but they didnt work and just made me have contractions without passing anthing so had a D&C in June.

Stopped trying for a while and then in Feb 2009 I have Lletz for pre cancerous cells on the crevix.

In Nov 2009 I had a spontaneous mc at 4-5 weeks

In May 2010 I fell pg again and it was ectopic.

We decided to give up and adopt but just recently we have decided to try one more time and we will start trying after Xmas.

I currently dont smoke, hardly drink, decaf only tea and coffee, lots of herb teas, I temp, take loads of Vits etc

Looking forward to picking up tips for you all

    xx

Welcome Mennie, that is a run of disappointments - have they investigated the mc's?

Dont worry about the lletz treatment - I have had my cervix removed as I had cancer and my womb is held together with a stitch and they still seem to think I can carry a baby (all be it high risk!) I prob cant do IVF without seeing someone specialising in post-tracelectomy, which I am trying at the moment so fingers crossed. A friend of mine has successfully conceived and carried to full term following lletz and cone biopsy if that helps!

Continuing good luck juju, with the IVF

Chickpea, nice to see your distinctive typing!

Rubberduck well done in fighting your corner to get your treatment straight away - hope it progresses well XX

VK2008 - 5.41!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thats not on my clock

QQuaver, hope you get IUI XX

I am on day27 so have my little pinkies crossed - no signs either way but not hopeful as I had the colposcopy this month just after o so I doubt that helped!
