Best of luck alamaya!!! Can i ask how long it took to get to this stage from when you were referred to the fertility clinic?

I went to GP within a month i think i was at hospital. Told me to come back 3 months later (not due to waiting but due to weight and to collect tests). I then got the fertility clinic info in about 3 weeks.
I think i started it all around Sept last year. I would of started IVF earlier if not for my weight or that clinic did not tell me i had to book a block and therefore missed that months slotBaby Girl Born May 2011Baby Boy Born Nov 2012

Hi - to Cedrickerry
Didn't want to run, but just to say the behaviour really sounds like someone with depression brought on by the loss of his mother. I second Qquaver's thoughts - if you can, get an appointment with GP or bereavement counsellor as soon as.0 -
I agree with other cedrick see if you can get some counselling for your OH it might help him come to terms with it. Perhaps the counselling will help with the gambling too. Good luck
Well done alayama on the embies - sending you lots of luck and baby dust and the waiting is alweays the worst part.
Good luck gin on the weight loss. I don't think I would want to read the book as I will probably cry all the way through too.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -

Huge congrats to plumpmouse and jiblets
And also to alamajaand anyone i've missed after my quick catch up
Hello to all the newbies, chickpea I recognise you from the TTC thread, cedrickelly I remember you from when I use to nosey in here from the TTC thread. Sorry to hear about your OH, it must be very hard for both of you. I think I would try to be as understanding as possible regarding socialising etc, but would have to put my foot down on the gambling.
AF was 6 days late this month, luckily i didn't let myself get too excited after the same thing happened a year ago. So i coped with only one test and one BFN during those 6 days - quite proud of myself.
Our fertility clinic referal form was finally sent on Wednesday, any ideas how long it might be until we get an appointment letter, or how long until the appointment itself? From the sounds of other's experiences it might not be too long, and then our first appointment could include quite a lot of tests?
In other news, we put an offer on a house today. We offered 19% below asking price as there is a lot of work needed and it had been on the market quite a long time, so expect it to be rejected straight away, however it is quite exciting none the less

Cedrickerry, sorry I didnt reply to your post, I have been having internet probs, fortunately all sorted now.
I agree with the others that some form of counselling or at least a visit to the gp - it doesnt sound as if he is dealing with his grief very well, and may well be suffering from depression. Can you try Cruise bereavement counselling? Hope you manage to get it sorted out.
Alamaya, good luck with the blastocysts tomorrow XX
