My doctor told me I will ov on Mon or Tue, had Peak on fertility monitor (opk) on Monday:)
It's no use symptom spotting for me, since it is exactly the same as PMS:o
Whereabouts are you?0 -
I asked about v i a g r a for my DH, and the doctor said he needs to have a blood test before he can prescribe it:huh:
Is it normal?
I think this is normal, my partner had a BT before as well I think.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -
I think I am in my 2ww, not exactly sure, probably 2DPO.

I think im about 6 days past ov, i find it hard to analyse when i have actually ov'd, i find i dont get very much ewm at all, i tend to put the time down to my outbreak in boils!0 -
So I had hycosy done yesterday. I have to say I was not expecting that. I knew generally what was going to be done as I did a little bit of reading up but was surprised by the nausea/slight pain/hot flushes etc I got. It felt like I needed to go to the loo really urgently to do no1 and 2. but every time the dye went in it did hurt, but it wasn't a massive pain but it was in places I have never experienced pain before and it did make me feel very uncomfortable. Afterwards, probably because of the shock of it, I felt rather dizzy and nauseous, like when you're about to black out. Thinking back i probably should have eaten something before the appointment as it was at 4pm (I was actually seen closer to 5pm) and i hadn't eaten since lunch and used the loo.
An hour afterwards i was fine again, just a little bit sore, and went to work.
I do feel rather embarrassed that I was such a wimp though. Here's me wanting to get pg and give birth, and I'm upset about a little procedure.
But good news is that my tubes are not blocked and everything is looking fine, other than the cysts, but I knew they were there anyway. And the doctors in this hospital keep saying I have PCOS but when I first went to another hospital for examination (wasn't trying to get pg then but just trying to sort out my non-existent periods), they said it is not PCOS although some symptoms are the same. Go figure....0 -
Kairi - don't worry about feeling a wimp, I feel like that too. I hate blood tests as I have a bit of phobia about needles (great to have when you need IVF) so I have to ask for the special numb spray! God knows how I will survive giving birth as I hate pain but I will worry about that after I am actually pregnant - because thats the hard part!.
I have just told my boss about having time off for my treatment and he was surprisingly all right about it and told me not to get stressed or run up and down the stairs!. I didn't mention about taking it as holiday or unpaid and nor did he so we will just have to wait and see on that one.
Day 4 and had my blood test, only took me an hour to get to the hospital; its right out in the country which is such a pain but its where I have to go so no other choices.BEST WIN LAST YEAR - MULBERRY HANDBAGSENDING STICKY VIBES TO THOSE WHO NEED THEM0 -
Kairi - glad the hycosy went well and your tubes are clear. Your experience pretty much mirrors mine - dont worry, you will cope with giving birth when it comes! You might want to take advantage of the fact that your tubes have been flushed this month - that can help! (Happy bding!!!)
Juju, glad it went well with your boss - helps that they are understanding. Its not long now - how exciting XX
Im hopefully ovulating about now, so another short while for hubby, and then he can have some sleep!!!!

Hi all, it's me (on my parent's pc, as I still havent' got internet in my new house).
We had our 7 week scan today. We saw a heartbeat and a 10/11mm little kidney bean. We're all on course and so bl**dy relieved. Our appointment was over an hour late, and I got myself completely wound up and tearful. Hubby saw me in tears and got really cross and protective, and couldn't calm himself down until we'd seen the scan.
So I do now feel officially pregnant, and less like a big fat faker. It's not long till the 12 week scan now, which I will have at the hospital and not the clinic anymore. I am a whole other step excited now a medical professional has confirmed the pregnancy and am feeling very blessed.
I will continue to lurk (and probably stick my oar in every now and then) and keep an eye on you all. I look forward to seeing your positives come. Stay patient, keep the hope, and keep putting one foot in front of the other. .
Big love,
