    Thank you Kairi,

I remember feeling a little uncomfortable while having it done but once it was over I was ok and I took a pad to wear after. I had the doctor that did it and 2 nurses in while it took place that were lovely and kept me at ease, It seems so long ago since it took place feels like I have been TTC forever

Hi and welcome chickpea, hope the appointment goes well 24th Sept x

just wondered where is everyone getting there pg tests from ? cheaply?
is anyone doing ovulation tests and know where to get them cheap?

the last bargain i picked up was in boots it was two clear blue ones for £10 but it was bogof so really only £2.50 a test and you also get 4 points per pound so thats and extra 40 points for the card
    not bad i spose?

AF arrived early yesterday (only 30 days this month compared to 37 last month). I have contacted the hospital and they said I can start my IVF this month as they have a free spot. OMG can't believe I'm about to go through it again but I am very excited and nervous.

I have now got the awful job of telling my boss that I am going to need lots of time off (unpaid). I am dreading that part. I am contacting my Dr today to see if he will sign me off sick for the 2ww.

Got to go for a blood test in the next few days - my favourite part - not!

    Its all go!

Good luck JuJu - may your follicles be many, your eggs be ripe and your OH's swimmers fast and focussed.

Hope the process goes smoothly from start to end.

    Hi girls,

Do you mind if i join you? I was on the TTC a while back (probably 4-5months ago) but i got despondant and left. now i'm back i feel i fit this thread more!

So i'm 28, been ttc our first child for 16months, got referred to the fertility clinc last month and went a few days back.

I'm told both me and dh are perfect weights, no issues with our health as neither of us smoke and we dont drink excessively nor do we drink too much caffeine.

So, to our shock on our first appointment i had a body examination, loads of internal swabs, a internal scan/ultrasound, a few blood tests. (the scan im told looked normal as was the body examination)

i have to make another appointment when i come on next month to get a tubes xray between days Cd1-Cd10 and dh has to give a sample before our "results" appointment at the end of Sept.
