    Hi all, it's me (on my parent's pc, as I still havent' got internet in my new house).

    We had our 7 week scan today. We saw a heartbeat and a 10/11mm little kidney bean. We're all on course and so bl**dy relieved. Our appointment was over an hour late, and I got myself completely wound up and tearful. Hubby saw me in tears and got really cross and protective, and couldn't calm himself down until we'd seen the scan.

    So I do now feel officially pregnant, and less like a big fat faker. It's not long till the 12 week scan now, which I will have at the hospital and not the clinic anymore. I am a whole other step excited now a medical professional has confirmed the pregnancy and am feeling very blessed.

    I will continue to lurk (and probably stick my oar in every now and then) and keep an eye on you all. I look forward to seeing your positives come. Stay patient, keep the hope, and keep putting one foot in front of the other. .

    Big love,
    jiblets.

    Glad everything went well jibs :j

    Amazing seeing your little bean for the first time isn't it - Ds is still called bean,even tho he is nearly 7 months.

    You'll be amazed at your 12 weeks scan how different he/she looks. Did you get a picture of the embryo they transferred ? getting to actually see your little one develop from conception is one of the few advantages of IVF :)

    Relax and enjoy

    Wow Jiblet!! that sounds amazing!!! That just puts everything in perspective doesn't it!! At the moment I am a bit worried of the things I am having to give up if/when I do get pregnant - sleeping, free time, my hobby ice skating, the lovely lady who does reflexology at work, any possible disposable income....... but I would gain that wonderful little kidney bean :-)

    sorry feeling especially broody today for some reason

    Hello!

    Cd8. Computer says no. We DTD earlier anyway - trying to let DH feel less like an unpaid sperm donor. And, as he romantically put it, he needed to get the ailing and crippled out his system before this month's campaign begins in earnest.

    OV is anytime between CD16 and 20, so real start date prob CD13 or 14. This month's plan is every other day then carpet bombing circa OV day.

    ++++++++

    At least I'm back on the straight and narrow regarding diet and alcohol, been model of virtue so far this month. After last month's little bender. My thinking last month was that doing everything right hadn't helped, so maybe doing everything wrong would. It didn't.

    ++++++++
    I had my DH's aunt stay last night. I didn't want to give the TTC game away or put any thoughts of anything similar in her head, so I made us both G&Ts, hers heavy on the gin, and mine with barely a drop in it. Only, somehow I managed to mix up the glasses. Wowza, that was a strong one I poured for her. Then later, she caught me in the act of adulterating her glass with more gin. She didn't say anything, so not sure what she thought of that one.

    Good luck everyone this month. In the words of Gabrielle, Dreams can come true..!

    Perhaps she thought you thought she drinks too much or something:p
    Then later when you poured some more, perhaps you thought she is too boring without alcohol:D
