That would be a bit overdue, wouldn't you say so? I would prefer the surprise to "happen" in about 8 months...

Hi girls, can I ask a question for my neighbours please?

Because they both have problems they need ICSI. They tried this about 7-8 years ago and it ended in a miscarriage which was very hard on female neighbour, more so because they later found out that the other fertilised eggs had been 'disposed off'.

They are now thinking about trying again, male neighbour is very broody since my DD was born (1 year ago), female neighbour is reluctant to put herself through it all again for it not to work.

I promised I'd look for some forums for her to read through, just so she could see if anything has changed in the past few years. Specifically, the Glasgow clinic, when they were up there wasn't much bedside manner and the cubicles were grimy.

Still early days for them, they have 3 goes left. As I said, female neighbour is hesitant, she's willing to look if I send her links to forums, but she's not willing to go looking, if you know what I mean.

PM's would be appreciated if you don't want to post. Thank you!
  • Barging in to wish you huge congratulations, suzy.
