so does the doc ask you to check all this stuff. i am going to make a list of questions to ask the doctor as i get all uptight everytime i go in. i think its one of those things its so hard to control your emotions and keep it together. i am trying to think positive but its hard.
AAARRRGGGHHHH who fancies a big scream? i think i need to blow off some steam
Emotions wise, apart from almost bursting into tears when mentioning my mc, it was fine:o
I was perfectly calm when saying I had mc at 11 weeks, heart stopped at 10 weeks, here's a scan at 7 & 9 weeks. It was when the doctor replied with a sympathetic tone that my eyes filled up:(
I assume your doctor already knows about your mc, you'll be fine:)0 -
yeah they never said much though which i was kinda shocked about, we done a test at home got a few positives, went to doctor who told to come back and do urine tests with nurse, when waiting on appt with nurse i just bled for days and days bang on 8 weeks. then nowt else was done. the doctor we have go at specialist clinic has been great. i have never charted before to be honest dont know much about it.:A VK :A0

I find it's a good way to know when I ov'd, so we can stop BDing:D
I take my temps first thing in the morning, around the same time except at weekends, with BBT thermometer (2 decimal points) and chart online at https://www.fertilityfriend.com :

Strictly speaking you should take temps as the same time every morning, without moving, but I'm taking a more relaxed approach since I've been temping since Aug 09, and noticed 1hr or 2 does not make a big difference in temps.
You can get BBT thermometer at Boots.has anyone here spoken to any consellor/service or anything? i literally feel like my heart has been broke by this i am sitting in tears thinking about things. wondered if anyone recommends anyone or something to help.

After the mc, I went to mc forums and posted and read up on loads of experiences.

Hi, I'm another gatecrasher sorry!
Jiblets, I again doubt that you'll remember me, I think we were TTC around the same time, Dec 07? I just wanted to pop on and say congratulations to you and your OH. Really great news! I hope the scan will put your mind somewhat at rest so that you can start to enjoy the pregnancy. Hope all goes well.
Take care xx0 -
Thanks all for the continuing good wishes. Shucks, you all make me feel so special! Ha ha, seriously, OH has been on and read all your congrats and he can't believe it.
VK, I went to a counsellor a few times when I was at my lowest. Once I was under the clinic, they provided a counsellor free of charge when I wanted. I found her excellent, she realy gave me permission to feel the way I did, and sometimes she kicked my !!! too. She was very knowledgable. Other people I know were less willing to go to a counsellor but went to a specific fertility acupuncturist (and paid good money for it too). They found that as well as the relaxation of the acupuncture (which I didn't love, myself), they had a really good talk with the acupuncturist too, and it felt like a counselling session too.
If you are feeling that low, please get help one way or another. We all know here how hard it can be. Personally I found the 6months-1 year point the hardest to deal with. It's like you go through the stages of grief, and when you come out the other end of the grief, and you accept (if you need to!) that it might be the long road for you then it's easier to deal with. But it's all early days for you, although I know how long it feels at the beginning. Count going to the docs as a positive step, because you're heading towards your goal.
Good luck with your journey!Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Hi Ladies
I hope you don't mind me joining your little group.
I'm 29 and have been TTC for 12 months. I was diagnosed with PCOS at 16, so started getting help very quickly. I am currently on my 3rd round of clomid:
1. 50mg but didn't O (no follicles seen at monitoring)
2. 100mg and O'd CD20. However, I chose to sit that one out as my sister annouced she is getting married in Austria next month and I would have been approx 36-37 pregnant at the time!
3. 100mg, currently on CD13. I've got my monitoring scan tomorrow so fingers crossed!
If this round doesn't work, I will be having Ovarian Drilling on 28th September which has a pretty good success rate
Anyway, nice to meet you and congratulations jiblets

Just popping in to say huge congratulations to jiblets!
Also, finally got OH's results back and they were normal (yay!), so i'm just filling in our referral form for him to take into the docs tomo. Then its time to start waiting again...Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0
