  • Well it was positive!:eek::eek::j
Although I'm an hour infront of you guys, you can see that I still woke up pretty early.......
Am obviously feeling very happy but also thinking about the wait now to see if it goes ok.......

I've ov'd before between CD19 and 27 so I didn't start testing until CD17. Looking at my chart I had a temp dip on CD16 and it then went gradually up and stayed up. Temps before the dip were really erratic so I didn't really see this pattern - and never expected to ov so early.

The ov tests were negative from CD17-26. The line was fading in CD 27/28 and dark/darker CD 29-35. So it looks like this was like a normal cycle!
So much for all this testing and charting :o

Working abroad may be fun Ginvzt, how far is it?
Good thing your manager was understanding about IVF:T

Fingers crossed for you tomorrow Alex:)
    Which CD are you?

Alex - congratulations! Well done on 'jumping the fence"! Enjoy the remaining 8 months!

The work would be in Holland. It is sort of confirmed (well, the dates might change a bit), but I am not "packing my bag yet"!

And will see how 'understanding' my manager is when I finally have my review (didn't have one yet in this company, very overdue and he is not in a rush to do one). I would really like to go up a step sometime soon, but I guess I won't know that he is counting when I will be going on maternity leave.

Can you tell us a bit about how you got it, what you did different and some history? How long have you been ttc, any medications etc?

Ginzvt, Holland would be lovely! Not so far away from UK too:cool:

I've been ttc since Sept 2008 and had a mmc in March 2009. After that my cycles were really erratic and after waiting a while for them to settle (and they didn't) went to the hospital to check things out. First tests for PCOS end 2009 and in May 2010 tests for blocked tubes and OH's swimmers.
I don't have any children and will be 38 in Sept, so increasingly feeling that time is marching on....
Also was feeling a bit frustrated as my cycle is quite irregular, but they say I don't have PCOS and just don't know why it's so irregular

I'm afraid that this is all luck... I totally missed ov this cycle as it was so early. Also luck that at the right moment we were on holiday, relaxed and DTD for fun. One week later we were back home, working really hard and a bit to tired for too much extra-curricular activity..
  • By the way, you all probably know this but I didn't!:

Hello ladies, just dipping a toe in this thread to see if you'll accept me :o.

good to see a friendly face here tho, hello Q

Well me and OH been 'leaving it to fate' since Feb 09 but actively trying (ov dates, 3 days wait etc since Jan 10).

I know officially we haven't been properly trying for 12 months but we both went for tests last month and it seem OH's count is low and I'm not oving every cycle. So doc has referred us to fertility clinic. Now waiting for our first appointment. In the meantime have started our first cycle with CBFM this month. CD10 and low so far.

I know I'm going to have loads of questions and queries over the next few months and am hoping you lot won't mind me picking you brains. It all seem very technical and there's lots of medical terms here that I have no idea about so hope you don;t mind me sticking my oar in.

On another note, my friend got a BFP yesterday morning after her 2nd cycle of IVF so I'm fillled with hope today. She's 4 weeks so we're all keeping our fingers crossed for her.

    xxxx
