    Thankyou ladies.
Jab number 1 was easy peasy! I can't believe it, but I didn't feel a thing!
Which method did you use? Frozen peas? Scratching the area?
Though this (induced) period is hurting. ooooh achey achey.
Was it induced with 6 days of norethisterone? I'll be using this from 23rd June. Is AF supposed to start few days after I stop the pills? I should've written it down:(

I had OH do it, I put some frozen mozerella on it for about 20 seconds first, hubby made sure he put it in smoothly and approx at 90 degrees, put the plunger down smoothly but not too quickly, I pinched the skin, he injected.... Don't know why it was fine really, but I'm glad it was!

I had 13 days of norethisterone. Nurse expected me to come on 4/5 days after I stopped, but I came on 3 days after it. With a bang. I had a HUGE crying fit 24 hours before I came on. HUGE. I'm pretty achey in my back, but sometimes I am. Maybe it's just me....

Jiblets - you are brave!!!! Hope all is going well still with the injections... I am dreading if I ever have to do those (well, with IVF being the next step, it probably won't take long to wait!).

I am still ill. We thought it could be hay fever (although I never had it), so I tried all sorts of hay fever pills and nasal spray, to no effect. So, my nose is still stuffed, ears blocked, throat soar, etc. And I am sitting at work. I am so tired all day, and especially in the evening, that is it no use of me anyway.

There are no news on ttc side. Well, it only CD 25, so there are none to be expected. But with the way I feel, I don't think there is any chance of me getting that positive result this month. All I hope for is that I finally recover before we go on holiday and I don't get ill while we are away (my usual time to be ill!).

Keep well ladies - summer is well on its way and the full week is ahead of us!

Well done jibs on your injections. I got my OH to do them first so he felt invloved but then found it easier on myself as you know your own pain threshold. I am petrified of needles so it was a big step for me but it has to be done if you want a baby. I used ice at first but then just got use to it with nothing, it does get easier in a way, but still not looking forward to doing it all again.

Hope you feel better soon ginvzt.

    nichart!!!! Fantastic!!!

I am looking funny today as my nose is sore and I am getting the blistery bits from blowing my nose so much for the last week!!!! Never mind, will get over it.

Had to take my cat back to the vets last night to get him antibiotics - he wasn't happy and didn't like for an hour or so afterwards, would run away if he saw me! (Of course, I locked him in that carrier box twice in the last week!)

Anyway, thanks for all your good wishes, but I am not expecting any good news this month. I had some spotting last night, so it is following the same track as the last few months: scan -> pregnyl injection -> get ill with something -> start spotting -> AF arrives -> not ill anymore. So I am just waiting for AF to arrive and hope that I won't be ill for much longer!

We were talking with OH that this me getting ill is more of a common occurrence every month (ok, if I am not down with fever, coughing, blowing nose, loosing voice, then I have stomach cramps, or something else). How do I get this investigated by my GP? Being 'devil's advocate' I guess I will be told it is all just stress of trying to get pregnant, I am hoping too much each month and my body just gets ill to get my expectations down (I think I lost that hope of getting pg every month a long time ago, not it just feels like I am waiting for every month to pass, so we could get closer to IVF and 'be done with it').

Sorry, need to get this out sometimes!

Ginvzt, have you tried other threapies to maybe help you relax and warn off any illnesses. I had accupunture which really helped and its suppose to help with fertility. Keep your chin up and you will get there one day, hopefully sooner rather than later.
