If AF doesn't show up, wait till day 37 to test, as the HCG shot might give wrong results. If we are lucky and this works, the clinic will be organising an early scan at about week 6-7 to check on things.

    So, fingers crossed!!!!!!!!!
Good luck! Lots of baby dust sent your way!

Well, it is CD11 today, so day 37 will be March 8th

I can't wait that long! I will go crazy! Well, I am pretty sure AF will show up before then, and I can tell right now, that I won't wait that long to do the test. Actually, I was going to do 'dummy test' to see if my body actually can give me a positive test in the next day or so (well, I was just given HCG shot, so it should show up on the test). I was given 5000i.u., and it should clear from the body in about 10-12 days, according to internet search. But advisable to wait at least 20 days before doing test just to make sure that the injection is out of the body and it the pregnancy hCG that is being picked up by the test.

Thanks everyone. I hope something works. I have got back pain now and my sickness is back, so I have to keep eating (well, to be honest it was off for only one day - yesterday).

Also, I know I probably shouldn't, but I have bought home pregnancy test and I am going to do one tomorrow. I know I cannot be pregnant, but I want to see that my body does work as supposed and 'gets rid' of hCG the usual way. Besides, for once I want to see those 'illusive' two lines, than could mean BFP next time. At the moment I don't quite believe that it is possible with my body!

I have gone against my own advice and been naughty today. I have done a pg test :o

I'm not even sure I'm late yet. I am on cd33 today and my last 2 cycles were 29 days. The one before those two was 36 and my longest was last jan-feb and was 38 days long. I have only been religiously marking down first day of AFs since april/may of 08 and looking at my calendar a cycle length of 29/30 days is the most normal for me.
Also it's normal for me to have at least a couple of days of spotting/dbs before full flow, so far I have had none at all.
So really I know I should have waited until day 36 but I thought that as that's only 3 days away a test would pick it up if I was pg. Also they were freebie tests so cost me nothing and go out of date in Nov so need using :)

After all that rambling I'm not sure if I am pg or not.

I know, you're thinking how can I not be sure after doing a test? :o
I saw the control line so I know the test worked. I also saw the 'not pregnant' line that goes across from left to right. It's the 'pregnant' line that goes from top to bottom that I'm not sure about. I'm not convinced it was there but I'm not convinced it wasn't either. I *think* I saw a very very faint 'pregnant' line but I wonder if..... a) I saw what I wanted to see and/or b) I was just seeing a shadow of the pregnant line that would come up if I was pregnant....like a phantom line.

I said to hubby this evening that I have done/am doing the 2 things I know to bring AF on if it's going to.....I have done a pg test and I'm wearing a pad...just incase it shows up suddenly and takes me by surprise :rotfl:
If those 2 things don't bring it on I don't know what will.

I'll wait a few days before doing another one and be sure to keep you all posted!

p.s I think this is the longest post I have ever made on MSE :rotfl::rotfl:

    Was it clearblue?

I get that most times, perhaps I have higher than normal hcg levels, but I always seem to get some sort of a line with those blue ones. The evaps looks really great too. Have you opened it up?

You should try another test with red dye.

But then, if it is not the norm for you, then it could be a....:j
