QQuaver - when we made the initial appointment, I haven't brought my BBT charts. Actually, I have never shown them to my GP or consultant. I went under NHS initially, got the bloods done, OH semen analysis.
    Thank you Ginvzt.
Is it better to go before/after AF or something like that?

It doesn't really matter. If GP decides to 'proceed' and do blood tests, you will need to do them around CD2 and CD21. I was told it doesn't matter if CD21 is of cycle 1 and CD2 is of next cycle (well, that's what I have done).

Another thing, does OH have to go too?

Would they be able to check me out first, then go on to OH so to speak, as OH doesn't know about this:o

ginvzt hope your feeling better today and hope tomorrow goes well :)

sarah loosing weight can be soooo hard but sounds like your doing well, I can put on pounds over night but takes me a week to loose 1 pound

Quaver I went to doctors by myself first as just mentioned it while I needed to discuss something else I had a blood test. I think my husbands sample was not taken until we were referred to fertility specialist. I think they usually dont refere you until you have been trying 12 months though

16 days! I hope we get to see a pic or two... All the best for it.

I'm losing a little weight! I've not got a lot to lose, but I'm definately wondering if my BMI is ok. I put weight on with the clomid, I put weight on with my op, and more with Christmas. But finally it's heading the right way again and I think it's all because work has improved. After reading a little from one of the links posted here recently about diet I realised that the fact that I can handle my hunger better now might be all to do with the fact that I'm a lot less stressed. I used to get hungry and be incredibly grumpy (and unamble to make decisions) the instant it was nearly tea time. Now I can delay food a little, or eat less and I still function! It's amazing what stress does to your body. I'm so relieved work is looking up - I really hope it continues!

My mother passed comment this week about how I'm such a different person since we've been having fertility problems. She's noted that I'm not the happy go lucky person I used to be, and I'm the sort to let stresses make me cry these days. She's right - I never used to get upset to tears over things (maybe frustrated to tears, but that's different!) and I do now. But like I say, things are on the up so I'm feeling pretty good.
Do you all think your personalities have changed on this slow-boat journey?
Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o :o

Hi jiblets I think mine has changed nothing used to get to me that has changed now and I hate the resentment I feel towards people. I really dont know how I will cope if the ivf don't work suppose just cope like we do. Its not nice I ask why me a lot.
I can't wait until we have all reached our destinations :D

Im finding work so hard all have babies or grand children the pregnant ladies start a conversation and it lasts alllll morning. I know 5 people having babies in May my ivf is march/april please please be good news :o

I am thinking of watching 1 born every minute on channel 4 for some crazy reason I will only get upset :o

sorry bit of a rant there!!
  • the tip to having kids when trying too long is to look at the science of the male orgasm. If sex becomes a bit boring and just about the baby making his orgasm is going to be a little uninspiring and lazy.

    Here is a tip.

Lady Adopt missionary position. Man lays on top and you know what. Woman moves feet together i.e legs closed whilst man is you know whatting. It just adds a little something extra and should provide a more fruitful orgasm.

What? Cillitbang, I think you should stick to cleaning and get off this thread.

Is anyone watching one born every minute? I want to MURDER that woman's husband. What a total and utter cXXk. Seriously, how has she stayed with him long enough to have four children?
