Shelly, sorry to hear about spotting. But as they say - until AF shows up, it could still be positive news...

JonieStar - good luck with Clomid!

Well, I did my test today. It did come up positive, as expected, but the line was not that strong, much weaker than control line. Honestly, I was expecting it to be much stronger. Yes, it was some 44 hours after the injection, and assuming that the level of hCG in the body will fall by half every 28-36 hours (google search), there should have been plenty of it!!! I was given 5000 i.u. dose, so there should have been at least a 1000 i.u. So, I am a bit 'miffed'. Maybe it is just my body gives it out in very tiny amounts? And all those 'phantom' lines I used to see on the test, were not that phantom.

Will you try another test in a week or so to see if it becomes weaker still?

Possibly... I might do another test next weekend or just before...

hi all

havent been keeping track this month needed a break. just checked now and realised i am 2 days late. got excited. tested. BFN. why it surprised me i dont know

i mean with a count of less than 3mil per 1ml. we have been told ivf's the only way but still gutting

Lots of hugs to Shelly, Alamaya and all who need it. I think I am going slightly mad this month as I keep seeing the numbers 11.11 everywhere. If I conceive this month that is when my EDD would be 11th Nov..... not sure if this is a positive sign or just that I am losing the plot a bit :rotfl:

I went to see my lovely specialist who does not want to prescribe me any more Clomid as he thinks thats it is scar tissue in my tubes that is causing the problem not ovulation. So its my last month on the lovely Clomid which I have mixed feelings about! He did mention another tablet that he could try me on which he is going to tell me more about when I next see him. I have my day 16 Clomid scan on Wednesday so fingers crossed

Well my first AF following my MMC arrived today with pain and suddenly! but i am relatively pleased as it means my body is doing well and may be back on track already! only a month since my ERPC! so that is good

Hope to be back at ttc as soon as she leaves

Rang up to find out why i had not been given my 3 month appointment yet to find they are still waiting for DH's blood test results. Apparently they are sent to a different hospital for extra tests than for mine. She is going to call me back tomorrow to make sure they have not lost them and they are being dealt with.

She has however given me my appointment for 10th March eeek. Gives me 3 and a half weeks to loose as much as i can.

I just pray they have his results soon as i dont want to wait anymore.

On another note i still have not started AF. Dont know if it is me being on a low cal diet and my body is crazy. Not letting it get to me. Just focusing on the IVF.

alamaya good luck with the weight loss over next 3 weeks you have done so well so far, is it a certain weight they want you to get to or bmi?

well I got well and truly spoilt yesterday I got breakfast in bed with paper then a huge bunch of roses (from a florist he got this one in as he always gets them from supermarket, I say always I mean the once a year I get them:p) box of chocolates, gucci perfume, meal and cinema out (saw valentines day very cheesy going on valentines day but I loved it ) then the best present of all the figure I saw on the ladies desk when we went for our ivf appointment I hinted I would like it but forgot about it but he bought me it and I was in tears at him remebering, here it the little pic of it
