JohnnieStar hope the scan goes well, I did not have any scans when on clomid just blood tests for a few months. I think its better when you get scans as well x

So far AF hasn't arrived as I expected. Have had cramps and pains as if it's on its way but nothing more than spotting/dbs yet.
Maybe the spotting/dbs is my AF for this month? If it stops I'll not worry and see what happens next month. If it carries on I'll speak to my GP and go from there.

Hello everyone ...it's been a long time since I posted, but have been lurking and keeping up to date on everyones news.

Had appointment with consultant yesterday ...apparently out of my 3 blood tests only 1 showed ovulation, which was not what I was told before, and doesnt ring true with the sticks and CBFM I was using. So now on clomid for 3 months. She was talking about possibility of IUI being slim, and going straight for IVF. Not sure what waiting lists are, but we have 4 months before going back ......well at least 4 months. DH has to stop smoking for 4 months, and bless him he threw out his tobacco yesterday, so we don't have to go even longer. Then another SA for him. The gynae consult told him he should lie about smoking (not that ethical ...lolx) but he forgot yesterday so now we have him stressed and hungry and saying he's doing it just for me ....I know he doesnt mean it

Cedrickeyy - Interesting you say gynae consult said to lie about the smoking, my OH also has to give up smoking for us to go on IVF wait list - as well as me getting BMI to under 30. We have to achieve this by end April as then we will run out of time as I will be too old for our PCT (originally age was 36-40 and I was 34 when we started investigations, now is 30-34 and I am 35 - figures!! we are in the loophole bit which expires in Nov this year).

Anyway, my OH did lie to consultant about smoking but didn't tell me he was going to so I kind of was put on the back foot a bit. I, obviously, can't lie about my weight so I was kind of miffed (to put it mildly). Am I overreacting - sort of thinking I am doing a lot (already given up smoking) and he's doing b all!??

On another note has anyone heard of/used Maca Roots? A friend of mine told me that Anna Friel recommends it and that 3 of her friends got pg using it. I have been taking agnus castus and have been ovulating again, stopped taking it a week ago so as not to combine that with the MR and looks like I may not ov this month. Just wondered if anyone else had any experience of it or it it's just another wonder herb I am putting too much faith in!!

TMI ALERT!!!

AF arrived late this afternoon. Very heavy and with bits of 'tissue' in it, not blood clots, more like skin.
Reminds me of what came out after both D&Cs.
Nothing usually worries me about periods and bodily things but I hate seeing what I am seeing mixed in with the AF blood.

as for me still no AF now on day 39 and my cycles are exactly 33 normally. thinking it might be the very low cal diet i am on. or stress. who knows. i am worried i am messing up my perfect cycle but i dont really have a choice as only got 3ish weeks to appointment. sigh
