Thank everyone, I had 4 cycles of clomid. The next one is drug free, as I have finished all of Clomid I was prescribed.
Well, our friends and godson where supposed to fly home today, but after taking 3.5 hours to get to the airport (instead of 40min) and waiting for 3 hours in the airport, they collected they bags and came back home with us. They will be rebooking(rescheduling) their flight for later in the week, so I have few more days to spend with them. OH is going back to work tomorrow, so it is going to be interesting. bitzer_maloney wrote: »*pops head in from t'other ttc thread* hey ladies, I get the err, loo issues, when I have AF and I'm sure its because of the drop in progesterone. Your prog rises after ov then drops at AF (or not if you're a lucky lady
) but prog slows down your "smooth muscle" movement, i.e. your digestive transit. So when the levels drop, everything speeds back up again, if you get my gist..
That's really interesting! (And I'm not even joking). I love knowing the whys and wherefores about things...Am not witty enough to put something cool and informative here:o0 -
Thanks from me too, bitzer maloney - I always thought it was just me who had these problems, its good to know its not just me, and there is a reason for it!
I hope you enjoy your unexpected extra days with your friend and godson, ginvzt - more use for the cot! Good luck with the italian, or should I say miming!?!

I am happy they will say few days more, but not so much as I have got a killer cold. Hope Lemsip can sort it (although from my experience not, and it will take couple of months to get over it). We will manage with Italian - it will be a good lesson for me!Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -
We've been trying for a baby for 2 1/2 years but no joy whatsoever. Hubby and I are both about to turn 30 - he's been checked out and is fine, it seems that the glitch is with me.
Finally seeing Fertility Consultant at the hospital and he's asked me to do one more ovulation test (all have shown I'm not ovulating, but he wants me to do one more at a different time in my cycle) and then said he will prescribe me Clomiphene Citrate/Clomid.
I really hope that this works - does anyone know what the success rate of this drug is?0 -
Welcome skint monkey to the madhouse! Glad you are getting the help that you need. Its a long time since I took Clomid, but ginvzt has just finished it so may be able to give you the information you need. Good luck with it, anyway, and keep posting!
Ginvzt, sorry to hear about the killer cold, there are a lot of them around at the moment.
We have had the snow deluge just start at 3pm - I am glad Im now home in the warm. I have picked up DS, and the roads are more than a little hairy - we are rural and so is the school, about 1/2 mile down the road. They were gritted before the school opened this morning so relatively clear, but not since and they are covered now, plus the school is at the bottom of a hill - nice!!!! We have had 1inch in about 1 hour, so if this keeps up I doubt the school will be open tomorrow, well not unless they get the gritters down here, anyway.
Had my lymphodaema consultant appointment today. Hopefully we are getting somewhere, I do have lymphodaema, but the pain is caused by the nerves, like a neuralgia type thing. He has changed my pain relief, so hopefully it will help and I will start getting some sleep.
Day 2 in my cycle and AF has started to be a bit more kind now. Although I do have a migraine threatening - prob shouldnt be on the computer, but never mind!
Hope everyone is well - LiloLive on £4000 a year again for 20110 -
Hello everyone, I read your lovely thread regularly and just wanted to pop in and say hi as it is a while since I have posted. We have been trying for a baby for 2 years now and stopped for the last few months as it was stressing both of us out to the point where there was def going to be no baby as we were barely talking! We have decided to start trying again and it is this thread that stops me going completely mad - thank you :T:heart2: Proud mummy to my gorgeous daughter :heart2:Debts to clear: Mortgage - [STRIKE]£90k[/STRIKE] £76:starmod: Thank you to everyone who posts! :starmod:0

Hi SkintMonkey and welcome - we will share your woes and more, I'm sure!
Kizmet, it feels wrong to say welcome back - I wish you had been more successful and didn't need to reappear, but oh well, I know how it feels and I'm still plodding on! Here's to it being a short visit for both of you, x
Lilo, good news from the consultant, thank goodness, and hopefully the new meds will do the trick. Step away from the screen and look after your poor head though! You'll regret it if you don't...
How's everybody doing in this cold weather then? We've had about 6 inches of the white stuff and the road has been eerily quiet today0 -
Thanks Madmac - have been a good girl and stayed away - been out building snowmen and having a snowball fight with DH,DS and Stepdaughter and her OH!!! We have had about 6 inches as well and the snow is brilliant for building. Havent had so much fun in ages. Am assuming that DS will be off school tomorrow - if not he may be a bit tired!!
Welcome back kizmet, you did the best thing - sometimes we have to step back to go forward, I too hope your visit will be short

For the last few days I have been seriously thinking about TTC #2. I think its because I sorted out all DSs baby clothes to go on eBay and it made me so broody. So I am on a very strict diet to try and lose some lbs (hate the easy weight gain with PCOS). Need to clear some debt at least, then the only thing left (please dont judge me) is getting off anti-depressants. Has anybody else been on ADs? What was it like coming off of them? I no it is a little off topic, but I dont know where else to ask. x0
