Can definitely relate to the comfort eating recently - I popped a button off my work trousers this morning and they're now held together with a paperclip!

    Oh dear :D

    Hi Ladies,

Just a quick drop in to say hi. I'm still reading a bit, but trying to keep away a bit. I know it's not nice of me, but I've really struggled with so many people moving on. It's great, but also so bloomin' depressing to be nowhere after so long.

Nothing changing with me a the moment. Still the longest cycle in history, but at least today I got to see the FSH/LH leves and I'm definately not in menopause. The levels were very low, in theory I was at the start of my invisible cycle, so that could be right. It matches my feeling though that I have just shut down and stopped working.

Nothing can be done right now. Doc says to just wait and it will probably sort itself out (always love that advice!). I am seeing my surgeon/gynacologist in two weeks, so he will hopefully start to follow up so I am lucky that I am already in the system and will be looked at soon. I know there is something you can take to start your period, so he may do that. I'm not supposed to be TTC at the moment anyway, but it's just so frustrating to see another thing go wrong. I'm not sleeping, and I think a tad depressed. I just want these things to be sorted out soon so I can restart IVF in August.

And don't talk to me about weight. I'm back up to my peak weight, and even doing the 5:2 diet thing for a few weeks isn't making any difference. sigh... BMI is 31 so it's not terrible, but if I could just shift a stone and keep it off I'd be much happer.

Big hugs T2D, you've had so much going on lately it's no wonder you're having trouble sleeping. I find that everything else looks worse then as you're just so blooming k.nackered all the time. Really hope things start to look up for you soon.

Sorry I missed this post. Huge hugs to you t2d. I think they can give provera to start period? Hope that they can give you some useful info soon. There is nothing worse than 'waiting for something to sort itself out'. Whatever that is!

Just heard one of my all-time favourite songs on the radio and feel a bit low now.... maybe I need to start liking cheerier music!
I felt extremely down about 2 months ago and listening to Mazzy Star's depressing song 'Into Dust' really helped me get out of it.

Last month we had a break from trying because of the op and that also helped my mental state. This month we're back to normal - I'm peeing on sticks again.
