Here, have a choc brownie nichart...
I can conform that LEsley Regan is amazing, however at St Mary's you do not get to see a particualr consultant; you go to whoever is free at that point (you can ask to see only one person but it will probably double your waiting time - which is about two hours anyway). But St Mary's in general is very good. Just a bit impersonal at times. And the woman who books the HSGs is utterly, utterly useless and very rude. But you have to just ride it out.0 -
I couldn't find the thread!!!! It wasn't on the first page, and by the time I clicked through to page 2 and 3, it jumped to page 1!
I hope all goes well today meercat and Catw)man! Whatever happens, come here, and we will supply congratulations/hugs/tea/cakes/tissues - whatever is needed!!!
I don't know what is going with my body. I have got peaks on cbfm on Friday and Saturday, and temperature went up on Saturday, but then dropped way down on Sunday! It came back a bit up today, but nowhere near Saturdays.. I can never understand my body. I was incredibly uncomfortable on Saturday. To the point, that we were in Trafford Centre and I had some gift vouchers to spend, but I didn't, as every time I put something on, I got a shock by the look of my belly, which looked like inflated balloon!!!!!
Oh, we got the cotbed on Saturday for our godson's visit, assembled it last night - looks very pretty. I covered it all with sheets trying to prevent cat jumping in, and avoid seeing it (although I love it!).Spring into Spring 2015 - 0.7/12lb0 -

Well, this is it ladies. I'm having my hydrosalpinx removed in the morning. I managed to make it through the day (having warned people not to spend all day fussing me). I've got a magazine and a puzzle book bought for the morning, some clothes and books ready over my mams for my bedrest. I've had a huge meal, so a quick piece of toast before bed should hopefully see me through. ( I get very ratty and emotional when I'm hungry, so it's a feeling best avoided....)
Silly question. Do any of you have a special "groom" for these situations? I kinda want to get myself nice and neat so I don't have to "neaten up" for a while after, but I always wonder what the surgeon (and interns) will see, and if they'll think I'm a tramp because of it....

When I went in I did have a groom down there and they gave me paper knickers to put on but I woke up after op and they were not there!! I had my hip replaced and all I could think was where's my paper knickers oh no they have seen my bits  silly I know because they see lots of bits and bobs every day but totally understand where your coming from0 -
Jiblets, wishing you the very best for tomorrow - I wouldn't worry too much about your bits, they have seen so many of them that I don't think they batted an eyelash at my messiness... but in my defence I hadn't been able to bend in weeks and in truth felt far too ill to care in the end!! You'll be fine, I'm sure, x
Hamish - sad to say well done that your body has behaved itself, but better that than the alternative! Onwards and upwards and all that rubbish, x
Ginvzt, hugs for feeling so rough, but your goings on body-wise sounds OK to me? Peak on CBFM very good sign, bloating and discomfort OK that OV has taken place and body is prepared - so wouldn't worry too much about temperature - that could have just been affected by other things perhaps?
No time today to bake anything, sorry! But the kettle is on for tea, herbal or fruit as required...0
