BZ on day 2 of tamaxafin and feel really tired. Just been asleep on the couch.
I started the tamaxafin on cd 9 so not sure when to watch out for ov?
The mind use can play some horrid tricks on us.

Warning: gross question alert!!!
Sorry for this ladies, this is horrid but need some advice. Since taking clomid, last months period and now this month, sone thing weird is going on.
When I take out a tampon I can smell sulphur, like rotting eggs. I'm thinking this is either an effect of clomid or a lost tampon.
I'm feeling mortified but may have to go to docs0 -
Ps next time I want to come back as a man0
-
Wtdn sorry i dont have any experience im afraid but if your worried about a lost tampon then maybe a trip to the dr is in order. Xx0

Wtdn, is it actually possible you've used a tampon you've forgotten about? I'm struggling to believe you wouldn't have had at least some discomfort when dtd or using further tampons...? That said, I would contact the nurses at the fertility clinic you got the clomid from, and ask their advice. I guess it could be some kind of uterine infection so they could do swabs? Have you had large clots? Sometimes saving some to show then can help them identify what's going on (a few friends have told me of having to do this for midwives and such).
It's definitely nothing in the environment that smells, rather than the tampon, right?
Heavy bleeding can smell different, I've definitely had experience of that, but I'm not sure I'd quite describe it as rotten-egg-like... Are you bleeding particularly heavily?"I am indelibly stained by hope and longing" - Nuts in May0 -
Yeah I do have heavy bleeding. I don't smell at other times and neither if I use a towel. Maybe I could try a different brand of tampon. Thanks both - think I might give the clinic a call if all else fails0

Sorry I've been quiet, not much going on and I found it easier to stay quiet. But my heart goes out to Tealover, been thinking of you.
CD 34 and BFN. Not sure Clomid is working for me anymore, although I have put on half a stone, so maybe that's why.
On a side note, as part of my weight loss mission I'm running 10k in Manchester on Sunday 26th May (my 30th birthday - I thought it was a good way to distract myself!) to raise money for Cancer Research. If anyone would like to sponsor me pleased text just giving on 70070 with code VASC83 and an amount. Many thanks! x0 -
Wtdn, sorry I can't help but hopefully it's easily sorted
Vseviour the 10k will be a fantastic achievement!
my brain has completely broke when it comes to ttc. i have no faith in it happening naturally, have no faith that anything good will happen through the fertility specialist. right now i can not see myself having children, i just can't. i still want them more than anything but i just don't have any hope left
i realise to those who are in worse situations and/or have been trying much longer this might seem overdramatic but i can't help how i feelat least it helps me to get on with my life and not keep thinking can't do this in case i'm pg, planning house/cars round children in my head.
we've saved enough of a deposit to afford a house so that will give me something to focus on at least xLittle Lowe born January 2014 at 36+6

WTDN - I'd imagine there would be some kind of sign if you had a lost tampon in there. But any odd smelling discharge is a sign to go to the doc I'd say. Could be a minor infection.
TeamLowe - my heart goes out to you. It is so hard, and you know there will be better days ahead. I do understand your feeling, I go up and down with believing it will ever happen but we can only hope.
It feels totally un-likely that anything will ever work out. I've never had a sniff of a BFP, or anything really different one month to another, so I don't really think it will happen either.
I'll be honest, when we did the IVF at the start of my cancer treatment, I was totally surprised when they got some eggs and then embryos. I still can't imagine any of them will really turn into a little person...
And yet, this month I can't help think maybe... even though I was given a lecture today on not getting pregnant for another 4 months! I felt like laughing -as IF I could get pregnant in the next 4 months. The surgeon asked if I was on the pill, or if we used condoms. I just can't be bothered doing it, it feels so pointless using contraception. And I refuse to mess up my hormones further. So, assuming I haven't accidentally (HA!) got up the duff this month, then I think I will have to use all my knowledge in TTC to ensure we don't BD at the 'right' time.0 -
TL and T2D
This whole ttc journey really sucks doesnt it. *hugs* to you both and anyone else needing them. I to fear it will never happen after so long of never using contraception and to was told before my last op i had to use contraception. I only agreed to so I could have the op but knew there was no way I would get a BFP in that time.
I really hope we all get our BFP.Stay strong ladies.
