Tealover - I was told I could have some bleeding after EC and I did get some spotting. Try not to worry - easier said than done I know!

tealover, 4 embryos is fantastic. It matters not how many eggs there are - fertility drugs just stimulate your ovaries to chuck them out. What's important is how many fertilise and 4 is great.

Blood-stained discharge is perfectly normal after an EC because of the needle going from each side of your moo-moo to the ovaries. It's not uncommon to bleed during the procedure (although you're normally not aware because of the fabulous drugs they give you) and you often get a bit of streaking afterwards. Nothing to worry about at all.

With my IVFs I always found the time between EC and transfer the most stressful. You are reacting completely normally. All will be well x.

Hi guys and gals
Well we had our iui on 20th march
Nurse said af should be due yesterday 2nd April
No af and a BFN!
Just wondering what the usual is for these circumstances
We have been told if no af then we hand urine sample in on Friday to be checked
I don't have the usual headaches or cramps that cone with af
Aaaarrrrgggghhhh I feel in limbo
Wish af was here or a positive
I know u can get a false negative but I don't want to get hopes up to be dashed
Told myself I'm not going to test until fri
I wonder if I will last hehe

VK-I don't know what is normal after IUI, but I would imagine it's still a case of not being out til AF? I'm sure someone wiser than me will be along though. x

Just had appointment to discuss OH's SA results. Dr starting talking about assisted help will likely be our best option. Got all upset and still am trying to hold it in. Off to work soon. (deep breaths)
Know you ladies have been thorugh it, but I can't help getting upset . At least I have here to vent.

Tealover i had bad spotting, almost a mini period, after my smear so to me it seems to be expected to get spotting after they've poked around up there with something sharp x

Aargh, why hasn't the embryologist called back? She said she'd call today, why hasn't she called?? I can't call her because I don't want to look desperate. This is worse than dating!!
