Fixing my phone call situation is my next task after the accounts I just googled skype and had a look at the phones to buy. you need a sound card.....you got dat
then either a speaker and microphone,,,,tescos,,,,very cheap
or
a head set ,,,again tescos very cheap,,,,i paid €5 for mine two years ago...

Excellent! I can get sound through the computer, I can play DVDs on it, so I must have sound card and speakers. I have a microphone - not sure if I have the driver/software for it, don't mind buying another, I *know* they're cheap. I'd quite like a headset..... I could do that instead. Excellent! ok the laptop has frozen and taken me ages to be able to open this page in fact 1 hour 38 mins to be precise ....so i dont know if skype is the problem or what is ...but this laptop really needs replaced arrrrgggggghhhhhh ...saving i probably will pick your brains soonish ...thanks for allowing me too0
