am not sure if the calcium spurs are the same or not ...they possibly are no reason for them not to be .especially if they reabsorbed as well ...it could just be where mine is ...i dont know

well i went to the physio and it isnt all bad news ...i feel more in control now ...ok it appears i have three things wrong ...firstly i have two muscles that have tightened up causing my right shoulder blade to be higher than my left and causing me pain ...this was the area i got my first cortisone injection in ....he showed me how to stretch these muscles and what to do ...secondly i have something (cant remember the name sorry) wrong with my joint this is the reason for my lack of mobility this is connected also to the muscle between the neck and shoulder ...this joint thing (i wish i had wrote this down) has now shrunk because it has not been moved ...he thinks i need course of three cortisone injections in there ...he also thinks that i will never get my full mobility back but that it can be improved ....thirdly the calcium on the tendon he says it may rebsorb but even if i got the op my problem wouldnt be solved because it is not just the tendon that is the problem ...

so i feel alot more positive about it all ...i know know that i can improve my current condition and that is fantastic

That's great news(I think)...glad the physio had some idea of what was wrong.I hope between the Physio and the DR that you can get it sorted.

Yep, its good that your situation can deffo be improved - I'm sorry you can't get *full* mobility back tho. Shrinking with lack of use - I guess its the old "use it or lose it" type stuff, isn't it?

yeah i think it is kc ..ahh well i can improve on what i am currently suffering so that is fantastic in itself ...he spent a good 10-15 mins massaging it and then got me to move it again and i could move it a bit more before the pain kicked in so that was like a wow this might actually work moment for me ...which was great
