hey all ..well been to the dr's it is calcium and he reckons i need an op i could wait up to 12 weeks to be seen i will need to get an mri scan done ...then after that its anyones guess when it will get done ...i am currently in so much pain i am even thinking i might just get it done by op ...but shock wave therapy is an alternative but i cant see anyone that does that in glasgow ...and according to two different sites i am going through a reabsorbtion phase which lasts a few weeks then gets better ....will keep looking ...have had to phone in sick for work as i am not fit to go in ...so wont be getting paid i dont know where that will leave us financially at all but i do know i cant work just now ...will phone uni tomorrow and see if they can put anything in place to help me as i cant write just now ...still typing single handed with the left hand ...

    negatives - ouch.......and no money

positives - it could get better in a few weeks, you can get it sorted, and mil is out of hospital.

aieeee, El, I'm sorry to hear this - mind you, I'm glad its something fixable. Do you know anything about why it happens, what might slow it or help the reabsorption?

Kc I think it is due to the car accidents .... That's when the pain first started and according to the net it is due to the healing process after trauma

z what's choose and book? Never heard of it
