Hi el!
Long time dear how are you?
Reading your first post at work I'm back too 9k in debt and counting why do I always do this to myself!
Hope your well
ps I still owe you dinner!Isn't the knowledge that comes from experience more valuable than the knowledge that doesn't?0 -

Also £900 is way over priced for a reflex foam/memory foam mattress.
I'd stay away fro Dreams if I were you.
i didnt know that i wouldve been better with a pocket spring mattress will keep that in mind when we buy the next one ...yeah i spose £900 was too much to pay but it seems that is the story of alot of my life lol ...i seem to manage to save money on cheap things but expensive nah ...think i will stay away from dreams though0 -
hey all...it's been a busy few days as usual in elantan world ...shoulder is in agony i have done the whole tens machine woodstock lotion and windmilling my arm (oh hell did that one hurt but it did improve it slightly) mil still in hospital still ill ...hubby oh well that is a whole other story ...
he decided not to go to the sauna so had a drink instead then the next day obviously hungover started !!!!!ing about money etc ...so the stage was set the lines drawn and i did not back down ...he did believe that i had money put by but i dont and i think the reality of that finally hit him ...and he finally and i mean finally settled down and started listening and understanding ..it still isnt solved as he is still going on and i think another doozy will come up to be honest i can see it simmering ...i think it was because i stood my ground and answered every thing he threw at me so now i think he is sitting stewing and thinking of other ways round it lol ....but i am standing firm ...
scratchies have been kept up to date and things ticking over as before but i feel as if now i can start to make headway on this extra debt we managed to find ourselves in due to son, car etc so that i can get back onto the dealing with the debt it feels like i am thinking of debt as two different entitys all together ...the one big debt that i want to get rid of and the one small one that i aint even gonna get to starting on the big one till it has gone...0 -

Hi Elantan..hang on in there. We are all here for you!!!...come and rant whatever and whenever you need to and we will listen and try to help.
I had an idea that he thought you had money set by to rescue the situation as you normally would..I am so glad that you are sticking to your guns and he will in time (I'm sure) understand where you are coming from and then you may be able to move forward. It's just a bit messy before he gets to that point.
I agree that looking at debt overall gives a better picture as well.Take care xx0 -
i think i did make that rod for my own back taxi ..i did used to keep emergency money by ...but i am not doing that anymore ...changed days here

Well, I guess learning a new skill (taxes!) is helpful.... but why does OH want you to do MIL's, if you don't know how to do them? Have you *said*, I don't know how? I mean, just cos somebody asks, doesn't mean you have to say yes! Helping, sure, but *doing* is a bit different!
I hope your shoulder/elbow feels a bit better today. What a b*gger on that bed!2023: the year I get to buy a car0 -
I agree with KC...
Your lot know how to pile the pressure on,don't they?
Can she not get who was doing them previously for her to do them?
Hope that your shoulder is feeling a bit better today.0
