Afternoon :hello:
Just popping in quickly. Not sure who said you calm down before the weddng but I'm not! Getting pretty stressed actually. Was gonna come on and have a rant last night but then saw people with far more serious things to discuss than my veil/last minute cancellations
Still feel like I've got lots to do and time is rapidly running out
Sticky sticky sticky dust to all our brand new BFPs - here's to a healthy pregnancy

Oh, and if Martin knew how much money I've spent in the last few days, I'd be banned from this site permanently :money:Updating soon...0

Oooh forgot to wish you luck for the wedding Courgette  Sorry to hear about your stresses, hope you have a nice relaxing evening and hope everything goes smoothly on the big day xxx0

Hi jacobsmum - I'm fine thanks, although your mention of curry has made me feel very hungry (I crumbled and ate my lunch at about half eleven!)...
CD38 here, perhaps 20DPO, and still no signs of anything, AF or otherwise. Anyone got any advice on how long first cycles after mc usually are? Doc at the hospital said 4-6 wks, and for me last time it was only 4 and a half wks, but not sure whether it could take much longer than this.
winnie - good to hear from you? hope you're doing okay. smartie - it's good to see you back on the thread, sorry to hear you're still feeling poorly though - get well soon.
rik - so sorry to hear that you're not getting the responses you want from the doctors. It does sound though like each authority has its different guidelines which they have to stick to. So if you can afford it, go ahead and have the private tests - like you say, if they come back negative, you can cross that off the list of things to worry about. Regarding the test results, I also think what elliebobs says is really important to remember though, in that sadly there are many causes for mc, and there's no way any of us can protect against all of them. As always Becs is full of wise words - if you think some counselling would help, give it a try. I got as far as looking up numbers for the Miscarriage Association helpline and things like that, but by the time I found a quiet moment to myself, I had started to feel, not necessarily better, but not quite so crazy, so in the end decided to stick with bending my DH's ear instead. Strangely, just knowing that the support was there (and also the support from this thread) really helped me. I hope you'll find something that helps you soon - everyone is different. Since you hit rock bottom yesterday, and I was there a couple of weeks ago, let's go for a joint "chin up" attitude.... Onwards and upwards (and big hugs too, for everyone that needs them).0 -
Oh, and big congratulations to katy, welcome to Metranil, and have a wonderful day on Sunday Courgette...!!!0

btw - sorry to hear about the stresses Courgette - and I'm really sorry to hear about the cancellations - nothing too serious I hope? There's always something to worry about though - the registrar forgot to turn up for ours - that was interesting, but didn't stop us having a wonderful day!!!) And best of all, the forecast for Sunday is good, so fingers crossed for some sunshine!0

Thanks for the welcome ladies..made me feel a bit better
That test I took earlier has really upset me...so stupid as its the first one I've ever done!!
Why on earth did I think I could get preg just like that?????
Going to try another one next week anyway if I'm late.
Dunno I was just feeling really naseous and weird this morning...probably just wishful thinking....Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,You don't even take him seriously,How am I going to get to heaven?,When I'm just balanced so precariously..0 -
Thank you so much to everyone you are all really lovely and supportive. I don't think it's sunk in yet but I sure surprised DH this morning when I bounced into the bedroom and announced "get your specs on and look at this!" I think he thought the cat was hurt or something!!! He was really pleased but I think in a bit of shock too. How daft is this. I brought the test to work and keep sneaking a look at it. Good job it's a FR and has a cap for the wee-end!!
Metranil Vavin if you are not due till next Tues / Wed you have probs tested too soon so you're not out of the running yet! Just don't ever feel stupid as this TTC lark is a complicated business.
Corgette best best wishes for tomorrow. Veil or no veil you're gonna look gorgeous and all this planning /panic before means the day will be perfect. If anything goes wrong, laugh about it and move on as it's not going to be the focus. Yours and Hub to be's LOVE is the most important thing on the day so s*d everything else. Enjoy it and post some pics after please!
I will defo be lurking for a long while yet and will try and be helpful if I can with anyone's posts etc. Katy x0 -

Hi Metranil, nice to meet you xx
Good luck for Sunday Courgette, I hope you have a wonderful day!
Quick question, only 2 weeks since m/c, but have been having ov style pains the last 2 days? Is this possibly AF showing her face or could it be my insides getting back to pre pg size?
Still bleeding! 13 days nowMarried June 26th 2009
