Thanks Becs for your kind words about my positive attitude, I've had my tough moments but I just want to move on, I know that it's not easy for everyone to do this.

Ali, did you get anti-D injections with your first pregnancy?

Laura, have a look for a local dance school either on the net or in the phone book and give them a ring, most places will do adult ballet classes or will be able to point you in the right direction - where are you?

    Hi Guys,

Sorry to hear of the difficult times some are having. Big hugs go to you and vent as much as you like, if it's helpful.

Well, last night I had an ace dream where I tested positive and was telling my mum and best friend and everyone was really pleased for us (no one knows we are ttc).

I woke up really happy and excited then remembered this is the day af is due so I get to test fmu! Note: this is the first month since mc that I have made it to a 28 day cycle. I think the better luteal phase (from OV to AF) is thanks to the seven seas vit b + folic acid supplement (currently on buy 2 get 1 free at Tesco ) which I started taking from cd1 last month.

    Anyway. Guess what?

Oh Rik, I don't know what to say.:grouphug:
I've never had a mc so I'm not able to comment from experience. I do know a lot of how you're feeling right now though. I'm 37 in January and started trying for a family 2 and a half years ago. Right now I would give absoloutely anything to have a positive test to just show that it is possible and give me the hope to cary on. I have several friends who have had mc's and 1 of them had 5 before she had her 2 children. Sadly I think even if the dr's could tell you there was something wrong it's still no guarantee that you wouldn't mc for another reason? It sounds to me that you're in desperate need of some counselling to enable you to have the strength to try again and fight your fear head on. Everyone is different and we all have to try and cope with our own situations. Catw0man has had 2 mc's and has a fabulous attitude towards trying again but I think only you can get to the same point with some help in accepting it. If only there were a pill we could all take that made us pg and nothing ever went wrong but sadly we all have issues to overcome and we have to look to others for the support and strength to help us carry on and reach our goal! I really hope I don't sound insensitive here because I am in no way trying to belittle the horrendous time that you have had. I have just taught myself over the past few years that we can't dwell on the past we have to live for the here and now and be brave enough to move forward to the future. I know if it were me wild horses would not stop me from trying again and again and again until I got there. And I know it's the experiences of others that have gone through the same that would give me that hope to keep on. I wish you all the luck and hope you can find the strength soon.

Lovely, lovely words, I hope I remember them in times of despair!

  • Woo! Congrats Katy! Hope its sticky sticky sticky and here's to a healthy and happy 8 months!

As for me, I'm on CD7, cbfm hasn't asked for a stick yet, I'm fearing its giving me up as a lost cause! :P Nah, it'll ask me tomorrow when my mum and In-Laws are here and I'll have to be all furtive with my peeing and tablet-taking for fear of them finding out (and getting unwarranted hopes up!)

Also, I've been really bloated this month so far, and having weird uncomfortable pains in my ovary area, like ov pains, but clearly not. Have a feeling I've got an ovarian cyst, not sure which type, but I'm fed up of this nagging pain! Argh!

Anyway, best go and get on with some work

Love and babydust and hugs to you all xx
Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.

Woohoo Katy! At last some good news, terrific stuff and loved the way you posted it - even I had the biggest grin when I saw your two lines appear on the screen! :T:T:T

Bitzer, you can bet your POAS will be interrupted by family - that always happens to me! Oh for an en-suite bathroom... I keep asking, but fitting it in a broom cupboard that currently serves as our wardrobe probably isn't ideal!

Best of luck for a great weekend, x

Sadly my local health authority don't seem to be that interested in the fact that I've had two mc's this year even though I'm rhesus negative which I now know can be a cause.
    xxx

Hi can being rhesus neg really be cause of m/c? I have that blood group too! x
