    Hi jacobsmum - I'm fine thanks, although your mention of curry has made me feel very hungry (I crumbled and ate my lunch at about half eleven!)

    have just sat and had my curry (didnt tell the oh that i had 2 bowls earlyer!) i made that much honest! and am now debating some ben and jerrys :D although i am babysitting my niece and if dn and ds come down the stairs whilst im eating it they may want some and i dont like to share it lol!!! will just have to sit and eat all my crispy spring rolls instead mmmmmmmmm.....
    dont think we will be dtd tonight after all as oh looks like hes coming down with something, what does everybody have planned for 2nite?

    And the point of telling me that the second most important forgot to turn up was? :eek::rotfl::eek::eek: :p What did you do????? God, that hadn't even occured to me as a thing that could happen :eek::eek::eek:

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

    OOOOPS!!!!! So so so sorry, wrote that in a brief moment between banging my head against various walls at work today, so should have elaborated...! In fact it was not a huge problem, as you always have two registrars (I think) - one who does the talking bit (do you? do you? yes, right you're married!), and one with good handwriting who writes it all down neatly in the register. So the one that *did* turn up, rang around to find a senior registrar who could give permission for one of our friends to stand in as a deputy registrar. Took a few minutes, and my dad got a bit twitchy, but the registrar was very calm, so we didn't panic - we were more worried that something dreadful had happened to the one that hadn't turned up.

    So it's quite cool - we've got one of our friends signing the marriage certificate in addition to our two witnesses! Apparently no one we spoke to (either the registrar or the venue) had known it happening in 25 years, if that makes you feel any better...!!!

    It sounds like you've had your mishaps already, so everything will go smoothly now. Once again, I'm really sorry if I panicked you - I'm so thoughtless.... Have a wonderful wonderful day.

    Blimey you lot can gossip!
    I've no idea who I need to respond to other than a few obvious ones!
    Congratulations Katy, can I have that dream next month please! Mind you I did dream last night that I had twin baby girls! Ahh!:j:j:j
    Rik I'm a very pessimistic person inside and my philosophy is if I spout enough positivity I may believe it myself!:rotfl: I guess I had another thought last night that if it were me I'd have 2 choices really, either to be really really brave and go for it (and believe me I really don't undestimate how much courage that will take for you) or to not go forward and in 10 years time not have children and look back and regret not taking the risk. That for me would be so much scarier.
    Welcome to the newbies, I hope we can all be of use and support for you and that your stay will be brief! (Meant in the nicest possible way of course!)
    Nice to see a post from you MadMac, we miss you!
    Bitzer we really are cycle buddies, I've been getting that ov pain/crampy thing too! Perhaps my dream of twin girls was one each for us!
    Edited to say OMG how can I forget to wish you luck Courgette! I will raise a glass to you for sure. Hurry back with the details and pics! Just remember the most important thing is that you are marrying your darling OH and everything else really doesn't matter! My hair was a disaster but I couldn't change anything so I didn't let it spoil my day. We had the most fabulous day and I loved every single second from getting up to going to bed and I wish I could do it all again every day!

    I would love that ;)

    Have so much to do tonight and just feel like crawling into a hole and dying instead. Nothing immediately ttc related, but I had planned to have monday and tuesday off (to make up for working last weekend) but my boss doesn't think I can be spared as our work is at a critical point. But he won't be able to tell me until he's looked through it this weekend. So basically my weekend off will be a weekend waiting for a text then back in as normal on monday. I just feel like such a fool for getting my hopes up about it. He did say it was fine but dependent on the outcome of this week. Meh. I might go and find some gin..

    Oh and yes: courgette best of luck for sunday, don't come on here tomorrow, you'll be far too busy with wedding prep to read about our cm! :p have a wonderful day and we look forward to pics after :) xx
