Quick question, only 2 weeks since m/c, but have been having ov style pains the last 2 days? Is this possibly AF showing her face or could it be my insides getting back to pre pg size?
Still bleeding! 13 days now :(

I bled for 2 weeks after my D&C, and again (for 4 days) 18 days after that - I don't know if that was just short AF after the mc or continuation of it. I do remember about a week after the op that I had really bad throbbing pains in the side which I assumed to be ov pains. Now on CD23, so hoping I get back to 28/29 days - or even more wishful thinking that it doesn't turn up at all :o:D.
Annoying thing is I have the outlaws coming down this weekend (for the WHOLE weekend!), and OH's dad likes a glass (or 12) of wine, so they'll bring lots of nice vino with them.

I have to be honest, am partial to a glass or two myself , but I'm worried now that maybe I shouldn't just in case.

    What do you gals think?

I agree with everyone else, lie anti-b's, illness, had a skinfull the night before are all good ones!

If I don't get on here tomorrow, good luck and a virtual glass raised to Mr & Mrs Courgette - I won't have alcohol though as AF due next Tues/Weds, so holding off the booze til I know if she shows or I get a bfp!

Laura; I used to live in Hamworthy and Lulworth; not sure if that’s anywhere near you but I do know that there is a dance school doing adult classes in Bournemouth if that is handy for you.

Katy; that’s fab news!. Many many congrats. Xx

Rik1978: Don’t worry if you still feel down and don’t let that put you off posting here. Like I said, we’re here for the good news and the bad times. There are lots here that unfortunately have been in the same position as you so you’re not alone. Anyway, you take care of yourself. Xx

Gettingthereslowly: I’ve also worked out (am obv determined to send myself insane) that if I was preg this month then my 12 weeks would be up on Xmas Eve so I have visions of presenting photo’s too.

Mentranil: welcome and if it’s any consolation I’m 37! In my first month of TTC I was convinced I was PG and tested about 5 times so don’t worry; we’ve all been there and done that!. I now put off testing until I’m about a week overdue (hasn’t happened yet though) as the disappointment of getting a negative would be too great for me personally.

Smartie: well done for some action!

Jacobsmum: I gave in and had a curry too; set meal for two (between me and OH) and it was v nice indeed. Thanks for the incentive!

Lovely wedding pics everyone; tres glam

Not up too much tonight; been a rough week at work and a v stressful day..why does everyone I need to urgently discuss matters with decide to slink off early just because it’s a Friday! Does not make my life easy. Autumnwatch for me on telly; I’m a bit of a geek and love it!

Night everyone, have a good weekend

    Ellie

P.S Courgette; all the very best for Sunday. x

Hi Jacobsmum, i've been teaching tonight so have only just got home to a lovely big glass of red wine and all you wonderful (chatty) people, and now I really want a curry!!
Bitzer, your boss is mean, i think you should tell him you have way more important things to do with your life, like putting together of who's testing next! I can't wait to be on that list!!!
Riky, big hugs again to you, and lots of red wine ;)
Twinklie, where is your OH going hun? And how long for?
Thanks lildevil for the advice, its really strange not having the slightest clue when AF is going to show!

OH goes down to Bangor (N. Wales) to do a PhD for 3 years. He moves down on Tuesday (I'm going too because it's half term). And then it's a weekend romance. And holidays as well. Bit glum but trying to look at the positives...like every week I'll have something to look forward to and we can date again!

Not sure how long the positivity will last. He's out on his leaving doo for work tonight and I'm feeling lonely already (even though I'm used to home alone).
