  • Thanks Lauralou, just hope it stops some day soon!!! Constant reminders are not good, the other one that is driving me mad is my boobs, that don't seem to want to go back to their normal size! Maybe i'm trying to rush everything!

GettingHitched maybe we can make this "Official crabby day"? I'm in!!

  • Morning all :)

Been lurking for a couple of days, just wanted to introduce myself.

I found out on Monday that I'd miscarried. I was 9 weeks, and had been bleeding on & off since last Thursday. Had some period-type pains over the weekend, went in for a scan on Monday. There was a sac measuring about 5.5 weeks but there was nothing in it :( Got to go back this Monday to make sure everything has gone, if not got to have a D&C.

We already have a 7 year old son (Thank god for him!) and because I had such a straightforward pregnancy and birth last time I guess I was a bit complacent and thought everything would be OK this time. My OH & family have been wonderful over the last few days. I feel very up & down, one minute I'm looking to the future, next minute I feel heartbroken and am in floods of tears (all normal I guess) I feel guilty for not being at work which I know is ridiculous, but at the same time I can't face going back just yet. I work in customer services and I know that if I have to listen to people moaning about nothing I'll go mad!!

Anyway, sorry to ramble on. We're going to try again as soon as we can so I'll be hanging around here quite a bit :o

  • me too, i've decided that until the postman comes i don't need to get dressed, and considering there is a strike going on then I may not bother at all! ;) xx

Hey ali, i remember you! am sorry to hear your news. You will feel up&down and yes i suppose it is normal what you are feeling. Dont feel bad about work. i had nearly two weeks off, i work in a pre-school and couldnt face seeing all the mums with there kids/babies.
Remember to start trying again when you feel emotionally ready. I feel ready but then i get scared about it happneing again and really dont think i could go through it a thrid time.
