Trying For a Baby III

Hi jennyfleur - I'm sorry to hear that your brother and sister-in-law have been going through it too. Are you able to talk to them about it? I've only told one person in RL other than my parents and sister, and also my OH's brother and sister-in-law, as they had similar troubles. It has helped in a way, and made things difficult in another way, as before, no-one knew we were trying, so there was less pressure that way...
I can understand your SIL's attitude though - self preservation probably - at least she's at a stage now where hopefully all will be well.
I'm very very lucky though, as my OH is absolutely wonderful. He's more in touch with his feelings than I am, and is always very good about talking things through whenever and for however long. He's also good for a shared crying session too! That just about makes up for not being able to talk about anything medical without keeling over...!0 -
Thanks for all you kind words, and for sharing your experiences. I've been amazed how many people do go through the same thing - have had messages from colleagues & friends over the last few days saying "been there, know how you feel" and some of these people I've know for years and had no idea! Both my mum, and my OH's mum had m/c's years ago and have both been very supportive. My OH's mum still remember the due date of what would have been her 1st baby (June 15th 1968) which I found incredibly touching.
Hugs to you all xxx0 -

My AF hasn't arrived yet. Was up all night with a bad belly, feeling very sick today, don't know if it's a bug or the start of morning sickness... i've been tricked by my body before so i'm trying hard not to listen to any "signs."
I'm at CD30 today, cramps have all but gone now, from Saturday til maybe yesterday morning I felt like I was going to come on but I don't anymore. Hoping this is a good sign.
Just wanted to send big hugs to those that have recently suffered a m/c, can't even imagine what you're going through but I hope you feel better soon:heart: Think happy & you'll be happy

Hi Ali, its strange how many people you've known for years suddenly tell you they've been through similar experiences! My mum had 2 m/c's before I was born, I suppose if she hadn't have gone through that I wouldn't be here, strange way of looking at it I know but helps me to make sense of it all! Hope you are ok hun, we're all here for you xxx
Thanks Astro_k, yeah i can speak to them about it but don't want to remind them of the agony as they are so excited about the baby thats due now, my OH has been amazing too, I never thought i'd be able to love him anymore than I already did! He's completely different to me in the way he's handling it, but it works for me! We are very lucky that we have supportive partners, I don't envy anyone going through this on their own. Think we will will take the option of not telling anyone we're pregnant next time, we both have big families so we told them all, its nice to have the support but the constant phone calls constantly remind you of the situation! Don't blame them though, I'd do the same! xx
Hayley, are you going to do a test? or is it too soon? I had a bad stomach the night before I found out I was pg, fingers and toes crossed for you xxxMarried June 26th 2009

And you can look back on the honeymoon and just remember it for the time you spent with your new hubby, without any other thoughts clouding the memory!! Plus you can have a good old practise session!! Really pleased for you hun, I think it was nice of AF to show up this early, get it out of the way!! Not long to go now, have you reached the ridiculously calm stage yet! That one really freaked me out, but apparently its quite normal!! x
Funnily enough I have, had no idea is was a recognised stage in wedding planning! :rotfl:May be to do with AF arriving, I don't get PMT as such I just get agitatednearly hubby is off work now too so feel much better for having some company and suddenly there doesn't seem like there's so much to do still.
Early AF if the best thing I could have wished for, actually even better then a BFP. Not sure how that one works! We bought a bottle of wine this morning, the first of many this week I reckon

Well i'm back from swimming now, went ok nothing didnt happen to me and near for the last 10minutes there was just me and another person in the pool so it was nice and quiet. I only did 20 lengths, i didnt want to push myself to do more! Oh and the lifeguard at the pool, was a girl i went to school, who was really stuck up and didnt like to speak to you unless you were 'cool' so i gave her my ticket and gave her a little kinda hello smile and she just looked at me up and down and like snobbish(if thats a word!) and i just thought some people ever change from school!!
Jenny and ali i've found it really comforting to talking to people on here as they have been the same as us and i don't really have any1 i can talk too. My OH is wonderful and mum and sister have been great but no one else knows that we are trying apart from one friend but she has a 1year old and didnt even plan her daughter and hasnt been through what i have so kinda feel i cant really talk to her

Lauralou, Glad you had a good time swimming, I HATE everyone I went to school with, so whenever I see anyone I give them a pitiful look, not sure why, it just makes me feel better! I went to a pretty vile high school and because I did ballet I wasn't the most popular person there!! Screw em I say!
Do you feel better now you've done a bit of exercise? I just hoovered, does that count?!
Courgette I may have a glass of wine for you this evening!! I've got to go and teach in a bit (ballet) 1st time back, usually it takes my mind of stuff, just hope it has the same effect tonight, can't bear the thought of crying infront of a bunch of teenagers!!
We have become very chatty haven't we, in the stlye of Louis Walsh "I like it!"Married June 26th 2009
