Courgette give us more wedding talk it may cheer us up! What's your colour scheme? What's your venue like or is it church wedding? Honeymoon?
You asked for it!My colour scheme is fairly loose, based on dark blues, purples, dark reds with the odd other bit thrown in I'm sure! We've been very MSE about it but it's still cost us £5k+ We're getting married at The Merchant Adventurer's Hall in York
and
which is where I'm from (York, not the Hall
) We're off to the Cairngorms (Scottish Highlands basically) for 4 nights then Edinburgh for one night but we've got an all inc deal including free booze so either I'll get a BFP next week and I'll be getting a little baby or I'll get a BFN and be able to make full use of the facilities!! Either way I'm a winner I reckon!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
My bouquet is dark purple and dark red, we've got purple candles on the tables (with the lights down low so it should be really atmospheric) and we're goona have carved pumpkins as the centrepieces (carved with hearts etc not witches!!!).
Erm, what else? Dunno. Will that do for starters? :beer:Updating soon...0 -
Loving the pumpkins.
We haven't bd'd since my last period so I'd be bloody amazed if I got a bfp and I think OH would demand a DNA test!!! I keep getting pains as if AF is coming but then she never does. I'm hoping soon though - don't want her visiting in half term.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

Bitzer we really are cycle buddies. Af showed this morning so cd 1 of cycle 33 now I think! Either I'm feeling more positive today or there are just no more tears left! I haven't ever felt this bad and I don't know why. Just thursday night hit me out of the blue and haven't been able to stop crying since! Having a nice afternoon today on the sofa with DH and rubbish films!
Glad you're feeling better. I'll be fine later I'm sure, I just think I need to get this out of my system today. Glad I'm at work on my own so I can cry and not have to explain myself to anyone  Also, I'm only 8 cycles in so I don't feel my tears are really warranted, feel quite guilty for feeling bad actually.
Funny thing is, a bfp this month would have been a bit of a pain-in-the-!!! as we'd have to change snowboard holiday plans, but not tell people why etc. So even though its kinda good AF turned up, I was just horrified at it and the (TMI) quantity of *bright* red blood. Anyone else had that? Also becs, do you know about a bit about progesterone levels? Can I pick your brains/experience if so please?
I definitely deserve a pair of snowboarding boots now
courgette-looks fab honeyNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
Congratulations CAFC that is lovely news..
Confuzzled can I please come of the list. Thanks0 -
Afternoon everyone
Time for tea and cake and hugs again, I think
Courgette - I'm an Edinburgh girl. Where about are you staying? The venue looks gorgeous.
I'm about to hop into the shower and get myself organised. BF and I are going into Edinburgh for a romantic meal. Then back home for MOTD...or maybe not as Everton are getting beaten...boo!
What is everyone else doing tonight?0 -
Huge thank you to all who sent best wishes, you girls really are fab! I'm feeling a bit better today and my lovely husband is taking me out tonight! I think you need to pack your day full of things and plan things to look forward to! You can't describe the pain that you have to go through, all I know now is that I want a baby more than ever! xx

Courgette: i'm not really a wedding kind of girl but yours sounds lovely; I'm too especially loving the pumpkins. I love the Cairngorms; we went up there last December as I foolishly wanted to see some snow! We wild camped for 3 days and drove back home (9 hours later!) on New Years Eve. It was beyond cold but lovely and peaceful once all the climbers/walkers had left at about 4pm. Saw some lovely ptarmigans and snow buntings.
Becs: glad you're feeling a bit better now and I did actually appreciate the medical essay; was interesting (for me, I can image for you it's a bit crappy!)
Sorry to all those that AF caught.
Jennyfleur: have a lovely night and I think you're right in that you have to keep yourself busy but remember to take time out for yourself too.
Good luck for all those testing imminently

Ah Bitzer I wish I could help with progesterone levels. It was so long ago or rather so many blood tests ago that I've completely forgotten what my results were. I do remember thinking they were on the low side but I think like yours they were taken earlier so didn't worry me. The only levels I remember these days are prolactin! I've just checked but I can't even find them written down anywhere either!
Courgette the wedding sounds fab, I absoloutely love York! It's our dream to one day be able to afford to move near Helmsley, not too far from York. We have a day trip planned for the festival of angels which I really amlooking forward to. And as for Scotland well we had our honeymoon there too! We started at Monachyle Mhor near Callender for 2 nights then over to the Isle of Skye for 5 nights then the most absoloutely fabulously romantic self catering apartment on the Isle of Mull for a week!0 -
Given that I'm not ttc anymore how long do you think I should leave it before going to docs about my missing visit from AF? I'm 10 days overdue now, which I realise isn't a lot but with xmas coming up I'm guessing appointments will disappear FAST. There again I don't want to just go if they are going to fob me off with you've been ill etc....Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25
